  1. The Object ID can be included in reports, however it would also be useful if the object name could be included too - for example, Workflow, Custom Filed, UTA Name, etc.

    We have created a report to track and reference changes within the system, based on notes that are entered onto the object (we have created a specific category of notes to accommodate this).   2. (I was directed to submit this via IdeaLab regarding the support hub at supporthub.smartsimple.com )

    Add the ability to save a draft of a ticket's content before submitting it

    In the previous support hub environment, it was possible to save a draft of the ticket before submitting. This was helpful in multiple scenarios including, locating examples to cite, creating videos or images to be attached, and when interrupted before completing the entry.

  3. It would be nice to be able to use the auto assignment feature as follows instead of having to use workflows and enable this to be used with the contacts tab instead of assigned sf:

    1) When a new user is added in a particular role to the contacts tab of an L1, automatically assign them to the L2s in the contacts tab as a particular role
    2) When a new L2 is created and users from the L1 are set to auto assign to the L2, the assignment is passed upon activity creation

  4. All grantees are required to complete an application for every grant, regardless of how it is initiated. Need to be able to send grant requests that start in the donor portal in CommunitySuite into SmartSimple in a pre-approval status so that applicants can complete an application.

  6. Fix the left hand column in the report builder which tells you which row is the dataset, field, field ID etc. so if you add multiple columns and have to scroll to the right, you can still see what each row is for

  7. We need to be able to attach a payee organization on an L2 payment record that can be different from the org listed on the L1. We've had to create a number of inelegant workarounds in the record and in reporting to get payments to work for our business processes. If it worked like the standard organization field on the L1, that would be the functionality we need.

  8. It would be nice to have a single place to manage all translations: User Roles, Types, Status, Standard Fields, Custom fields, Submit Buttons, Tasks, List Views, Portals, Shortcuts...
    1) See, per language, existing translations and which translations are missing
    2) Batch delete of translations
    3) Export, per language, all translations in a single Excel file, reimport the same file with updated translations

  10. We would like to be able to create role filters for contact association listviews in the submission manager. This capability is already available for global contact listviews, and we believe it would be useful to build custom filter settings to make grant contacts easier to navigate. E.g., a list of all reviewers assigned to a grant, communications contacts, etc. This would enable staff members to open a list of contacts and immediately parse the individuals with whom they'd like to interact directly without navigating through several other names.

  11. When running a report on an Organization Profile with address book enabled, it seems that it is only possible for the report to return one address (the one designated as primary).

    In our configuration we have allowed users to enter 1 record for each address type: Mailing and Physical. The idea is that they might have a physical location but prefer to get mail at a PO Box, for instance.

    Only the Mailing Address fields show up when a report is run with the Company dataset. It would be great to somehow get a report to display each address type…

  12. Add the possibility in the Notification Broadcast to have the notification stay visible all the time once using the sytem. Currently the user has the notification at connexion only and then the notification closes. After this improvement the notification could appear all the time, preventing the user from missing important information.

  13. When using a L2 list view, you can search for one ID but not multiple. The ID field does not appear as a selection in the dropdown. It would be great to use an or (or in() ) statement and enter many id's. The reason for this in a list view and not a report is due to the ability to bulk download attachments.

  15. With the BI dashboards set up it is possible to drill down to the project number, however it would be extremely useful to be able to open the project directly from the dashboard rather than having to make a note of the project number and then loading the submission manager to view it.

  16. Allow Search results let the user select one or more records and click a "Pivot" option to show a listview of L1, L2, and/or CRM records that have a connection to the selected items.

    Use Case:
    I want to know about funded projects completed by some (not all) of the organizations from Region 5 that use fiscal sponsors. So I filter for organizations in Region 5 of types "Charitable" and "Non-profit Using Fiscal Sponsor", and get 19 results, of which 6 organizations are of interest.

  18. When you create a listview that includes advanced data table displays, they are nested into a single excel cell. It would be great if there was an easy way to export out data from advanced data tables so they are parsed into individual cells.

  19. We want to display a file from one upload field on a Level 2 activity as a display field on a different Level 2 activity. We are able to do this with a display field of a Level 1 upload field on a Level 2 activity.

    For example, we have a field where we upload our signed agreement in the Agreement activity. When we need to do an amendment, we would like to have that signed agreement document accessible as a display field on the Amendment activity as a reference document.

  20. Currently, when using the @notes@ token in email templates, all formatting (such as line breaks, bullet points, etc.) is lost and the note appears as one large paragraph.

    The idea is to preserve the original formatting of the note so that it displays clearly in the email, exactly as it was entered in the system.
