  1. When editing a Dynamic Visibility, there is no history of what changes were made as the system does with most parts of the platform. Some Dyn Visibility trees are long and we do not have any way to see what changes were applied.

  3. It would be useful to have a drag and drop type interface for allocating tasks or people where high volumes are involved. Examples include sharing hundreds to applications between a number of committee meetings or hundreds of review tasks between a number of reviewers

  5. Can you please hold webinars at a time where European Smartsimple users can attend or hold separate webinars for European users.

    The last three webinars: SmartSimple's February 2026 Upgrade Overview, Configuring SMTP OAuth 2.0 for Office 365 and Online Project-Based Test to Production (T2P) have all been held at 02:00 PM Eastern Time (US and Canada) which is 8pm Central European time and 7pm GMT. This excludes European users from participating in these webinars and we miss out on important information. Please consider making a change to these. Thank you.

  6. The annotation reply is quite small if you had a multi paragraph write-up that needs to be edited/annotated.

    We would greatly value for an ability to expand annotation reply size (field value specifically). Yes, you can change the field length from bottom right corner, but that's quite restrictive for a multi paragraph reply

  7. We'd like to link Payments and Reports in a meaningful way to support automated Payment Status updates. We currently have a 'soft link' configured so that you can see required Reports and their approval status on a Payment record. But staff must manually update the Payment status once all associated Reports are in an Approved Status.

  8. Add the possibility to re-activate a previous notification. Currently we set up a notification for a period of time and once this period is over the notification becomes archived and non-editable. It would be great if we could re-use a previously made notification by simply re-activating it and setting up a new period of time of its visibility.

  9. Would be really useful to be able to report on whether or not annotations are resolved, as then you could use the report property to create SmartCheck validations and/or have fields display conditionally based on if there are any unresolved annotations or not.

  10. UX on list view differs from profile. From list view, the next/last page sticks to top of page as you scroll. On dashboard, it doesn't and when you scroll down through results you lose the next/back buttons.

    Would be good to have similar functionality on "My Profile" that exists for list views

  11. I often work in the back-up and prod sites concurrently. I rely on the top orange banner to know that when I am in back-up. However, when I am in the live site and click emulate user, I get an orange banner across the top of the prod site. This makes me nervous that I will get distracted and forget that it is the live site.

    Can the emulate banner please be a different colour than the backup banner?

  12. The old Rich Text Editor had the option to add headers to text without using tags. It would be ideal if this functionality could be added back into the new Rich Text Editor. This would save our users a lot of time.

  13. "Highlights" are exactly what they sound like - background color added to specific selected text.

    1. Permission L1 and L2 form types to accept highlights - application types, report types, etc.

    2. Permission highlighter function for various roles (staff, reviewer, evaluator, etc.) - Permissions should include "Create/view highlight" (user can create and see their own highlights), "View all role highlights" (enable reviewers to see each others' highlights IF this function is invoked on the highlight control menu), "View all highlights" (enable users with this role to see all highlights when invoked on the highlight control menu), and "Highlight PDF" (enable use of…

  14. In system features (global settings), there’s one called “Report – Manager” that allows those roles to access the report feature in system, build reports, export them, etc.
    o A subset of these features allow for wfs and statuses updates to be triggered (similar to bulk update)

    We have a user base that could benefit from self-service reporting, but shouldn’t be able to perform bulk CRUD operations on db.

    Suggestion: have a lower perm’d “Report – Builder” that splits off the “Update status” and “Trigger Workflow” features
    o This would mirror the personal list view limitations for non-admin users

  15. Why have "email" as an interaction type if you can't actually create, select, store or reference the email within the user interface?

    Use case: Our Finance staff wants to initiate an email conversation about unspent grant funds with an organization. The easy way would be to create an Interaction, use the "Email" type, and have it open an email template they could add subject line, body, and attachment(s) to, then select the "To" options from the "Contacts" specified in the Interaction.   17. Would like the ability to configure the Quick Assignment Type/tool so that we could select a default dropdown option for the Quick Assignment Type and Role to Assign dropdowns. It would also be nice to have the option to add a dropdown option of 'Select One' so that users are forced to select an option.

    For assigning reviews, a pop-up window appears with two options - Manual User Assignment and Random user Assignment. Would be nice to have the ability to revise the tool tip language.

  20. Display all data fields on Chart key. Right now, the Chart only displays 8 fields and you need to scroll to see additional fields. When you download the chart, only some of the fields are displayed.
