  1. Currently, when using the @notes@ token in email templates, all formatting (such as line breaks, bullet points, etc.) is lost and the note appears as one large paragraph.

    The idea is to preserve the original formatting of the note so that it displays clearly in the email, exactly as it was entered in the system.

  2. It would be nice to be able to use the auto assignment feature as follows instead of having to use workflows and enable this to be used with the contacts tab instead of assigned sf:

    1) When a new user is added in a particular role to the contacts tab of an L1, automatically assign them to the L2s in the contacts tab as a particular role
    2) When a new L2 is created and users from the L1 are set to auto assign to the L2, the assignment is passed upon activity creation

  3. It is possible to batch update for status, institutions, associated contacts (etc), but it is not possible to do it on Notes.

    Is there something I am overlooking? :)

  4. It would be nice if there was an easy way to mark a Task Connector as "Do this thing if none of the other Task Connectors work."

    Right now, let's say you have 10 Task Connectors, and each Task Connector is dependant on the outcome of a drop-down field on a form. In order to do a "none-of-the-above", you would have to do something manually like "@dropdown@" NOT IN ('option1','option2',etc...). Instead of having to account for every situation, just having a flag would simplify the whole workflow design.

  5. Enhance the Word Parser to support updating both standard and custom fields. Currently it can only update custom fields. We are specifically trying to use it to update address fields on the organization record.

  6. Add the possibility in the Notification Broadcast to have the notification stay visible all the time once using the sytem. Currently the user has the notification at connexion only and then the notification closes. After this improvement the notification could appear all the time, preventing the user from missing important information.

  8. We have a multi-upload field with media library enabled. That field can only accept images and videos, not documents. Please allow us the ability to accept more file types, including documents, to fields of this type.

  9. Allow Search results let the user select one or more records and click a "Pivot" option to show a listview of L1, L2, and/or CRM records that have a connection to the selected items.

    Use Case:
    I want to know about funded projects completed by some (not all) of the organizations from Region 5 that use fiscal sponsors. So I filter for organizations in Region 5 of types "Charitable" and "Non-profit Using Fiscal Sponsor", and get 19 results, of which 6 organizations are of interest.

  10. Currently, descriptions for uploaded files can be added. It will be helpful to be able to report on each uploaded files, with their description and upload date/time, and user. It will be helpful for staff/reviewers to be able to have a list of files that were uploaded, with the description at hand, as filenames may not be as descriptive.
    Also, since file upload is available thru autoloader, it will nice to be able to add descriptions of files when uploaded thru autoloader.

  11. The current permissions tab for creating a new folder within a system folder is limited to View Folder and Modify Folder permissions.

    Add the "Upload and Move Files" and "Create Sub-Folder" sections under the Role Permissions settings as well.

  12. For each formula, we need to configure in formula syntax the statuses that the formula shouldn't run on. It would be incredibly valuable to have end-state statuses control the formula access.

    Save draft (on record or triggered through batch update) will trigger formulas inadvertently on end-state statuses like "Approved", "Complete", "Finalized", "Closed", "Paid" unless configured onto each formula

  17. Stacked bar charts are often requested by clients as part of portal design and aren't currently an option with built in portal charts. A common ask is for something such as stacking charts and displays from the budget manager such as committed, paid and remaining amounts. While this can be done with a custom report, The ability to do it off of a list view in a portal would make this much easier from a configuration and client perspective. Often clients want a full list of budgets with these fields along with a portal chart, so it would be nice…

  18. When the excel parser runs, it's always been running in the background. It would be nice if there was a message of some sort on the upload field to indicate that the parser is still working and when the parser has finished parsing. It could be a circle or something, but there needs to be a message to indicate the parser is still working. Otherwise when users try to interact with the records that have been parsed, it looks like it didn't finish even though it just needs more time.

  19. Often review forms are configured with a conflict of interest status. In the conflict of interest status, reviewers should be able to see a few fields from the application, but not have access to the full application. Currently the only way to configure this is to disable the reviewer from viewing the parent record and configuring a custom field to be used to view the grant in split screen.   20. I have a couple of clients that are using the person to person relationship in SmartSimple. This is an older feature that hasn't gotten a lot of love/updates and it would be nice if we could update the UI to match the UI we have for Associations. Right now the UI is pretty out dated and it feels clunky to navigate.
