In Canada when we issue year end receipts, we need to have one receipt number for the total amount donated during that calendar year in order to create a receipt that CRA will accept. Sending out a summary with multiple receipt numbers is not an option and many donors do not want to receive 12 separate receipts during the year.
Can there not be an option in the system to generate one receipt with one serial number at year end? I see this idea was archived a couple years ago but I feel like there are more Canadian charities joining Foundant that could benefit from this.
