Auto email exception
I would like the ability to override which auto email templates to use at the Request record level. I have a follow up form, "Interim report", that I assign primarily for multi-year grants, but also for the occasional expenditure responsibility (ER) grant and maybe in a few other circumstances. For ER grants, the IRS requires the grantee to submit a report to us as of the end of their fiscal year, and to do so every year until all funds are expended. When we make an ER grant near the end of a grantee's fiscal year, I know they won't have expended all the funds, so I don't assign a Final report follow up form, but rather the Interim report follow up form. Most of the time, interim reports are for multi-year grants, not ER grants, so the auto email templates are geared towards multi-year grants, i.e. they primarily focus on information about the next payment on the grant. With ER grants, there is no next payment to be made, so the emails folks receive are confusing. I'd like to be able to assign auto-emails at the Process level, and also be able to assign them at the Request level as an override to what has been set at the Process level. This will allow me to assure that correct messaging is being sent, while also allowing me to use the same form for multiple kinds of grants. Having to create and maintain follow up forms that are exactly the same solely for the purpose of setting different auto-emails seems burdensome and creates a lot of clutter.
