CSuite Notification for Grants Synced/Approved in GLM
Implementing an automated email or system notification to the primary user in CSuite when grants are synced or approved from GLM would greatly reduce the risk of grants being overlooked and significantly improve workflow efficiency.
As the Grants Manager, I work primarily in GLM, while our CFO manages CSuite. We often rely on lengthy email threads to track grant requests and approvals, which makes it easy for information to get lost. There have been several instances where approved grants were missed and not paid out on time simply because the approval was buried in email communications.
After searching the Foundant Hub and speaking with Support, it appears that no such notification currently exists. Adding an automatic email alert - similar to those sent when an application or form is submitted in GLM - would be extremely helpful. Additionally, incorporating a system notification in CSuite (such as a banner or badge) would increase visibility and ensure timely processing.
Ultimately, the goal is to create a more seamless and accountable process, ensuring all synced and approved grants are clearly seen and paid without delay.
