  1. When making a grant request fund advisors are able to see the grantee name, but not the address. They can see the address at the review stage before submitting, but this means if they selected the wrong location they need to go back, delete it, find the right grantee and make the grant request all over again. We've gotten some feedback that some fund advisors are afraid to move forward in the grant request process because they are worried they selected the wrong one.   2. Right now, there is an option to either send the Cart Reminder Email daily automatically or manually, which we can control. We think daily is a bit too frequent and would love the option to set which days it is sent. Like Mondays only, or Monday and Wednesday, etc. That way we can control the cadence to work better with our workflows for grant processing, and not overload our users with too many emails.

We would like to email our yearly tax receipts to donors, but if a profile doesn't have an email the bulk job doesn't complete and all of the profiles without emails are listed so we can add an email to the profile to them run the job again for emailing receipts. In many cases we don't have the donor's email (when they mail a check for example). It would be great if the job would complete and send to those with an email and then create an 'exception report' for those without an email so we can mail those receipts…

  4. I would love to see a column in the Vouchers listing showing which ones have attachments and which do not. Maybe it's just me but sometimes I mean to upload an invoice we've received to a voucher - showing the status of an attachment on a voucher will help me remember which ones to go back and upload.

  5. Please auto populate the Nonprofit Directory with an organization's contact information. We have to enter the same information twice which feels quite redundant! It would be much faster if the information appeared and we could then simply edit anything if needed.

  7. "Grant Letter Template" name as grant report field:

    It would be very helpful to be able to add the grant letter template name as a field to CSuite grant reports.

    This field would allow us to do a quick check of all the recent grants to ensure the right template was applied before printing our grant letters.

  8. The Grant History page shows the name of the advisor that made the grant request.

    When you go to export this page to a spreadsheet using the Export option, the exported spreadsheet does not include this field. Please add the name of the advisor who made the request to the export spreadsheet.

  9. It would be great if we could create a financial package of specific financial statements with certain filters and column settings and then be able to run it as of a specific time frame and it generates all of the reports into Excel or something.

  10. It would be a great help to be able to preview the way emails will look prior to sending. We emailed some stock letters that were missing gift data and I had no way to know that. Irksome.

  11. Would really like to be able to process payroll through CommunitySuite, either by adding a payroll module to the system or by integrating CommunitySuite with a payroll solution so that would automatically push over the JEs they need to account for payroll each pay period.

  12. Need to create a recurring voucher that has a multi-fund. Currently, I create the lines for each fund's account but can only put in one fund. Once I create the voucher, then I can select the multiple fund. Opportunity for Functional Reporting and Efficiency: We figured out a method to do mutliple fund for functional reporting as transactions are recorded. This allows for timely reporting of by functional accounts. However, it takes more time with our recurring vouchers (75% of our transactions) to edit for the mutliple funds.

  13. Add partial cancelation field in pledges in custom reports. This will allow for a formula to get the true amount outstanding for a pledge in custom reports.

    I am aware the information is available in the pledge module. Unfortunately, the reports in the pledge module are not able to be linked to PowerBI or Google Looker Studio.

  15. Bulk Payment date edit + ability to see payment date within NEW bucket

    I would like to have a way to bulk change payment date similar to grant date, and/or see the payment date within the new screen so we can tell when a date was missing adjusting. The payment date is as important and drives a lot of the same functions that the grant date does.

  16. Show inactive stewards in italics at bottom of the steward list just as inactive org roles show in the org roles section of the relationships tab in organization profiles. Also add active/inactive as report and filter options on steward custom reports and other reports that can include steward information.

  17. When using the Profile Import and Profile Bulk Update features, it would be great if CSuite auto-formatted phone numbers and dates during the import process. Rather than having to format these phone numbers and dates up-front in Excel, it would be great if CSuite automatically formatted these values during the import process. Getting the choice of how they format (phone numbers with or without dashes, dates with slashes or dashes, etc.) would also be helpful and could be a setting under profile settings.

  18. We recently lost a large portion of our custom field data because of a error on a custom field import. As the import had been run in both our sandbox and live sites, we were not able to pull the older data from the sandbox to fix the live site. Foundant cannot pull specific data out of a back up (would need to set the whole system back to the back up date) and so we are stuck with having lost that data. It would be a weight off our minds if we could know there is a work around…

  19. When fund advisors use the guide star search, when staff process the grants in the new bucket all they can see in the new grantee field is the name and that it was from guidestar search. Often times, even though the guidestar search was used, we actually already have the grantee in our system. Our grants manager has to make the new grantee, compare it to the one in our system, and if it already exists then delete the new profile, and change the grantee in the grant.   20. This idea was already archived in the idea lab, but I'm bringing it back, as it is could still be improved.

    When fund advisors update their account info in the portal (which is great!), staff receives an email notification with a link to the fund advisor record. We then click on the link, go to the profile, and then have to view the logs to determine what was changed. The email notification should included the details on what was changed OR when in Csuite, the updated information should be an alert for staff to acknowledge or "approve" the change.
