  1. Greater Milwaukee would like a feature to create a new donation and new grant with Fund ID number in addition to Fund Name. We have many funds with the same exact name with no way to differentiate. This could mean money is donated to or granted out of the wrong fund.

  2. It would be helpful to have a report that will show us the scholarships we offer that require an essay and/or open response component. Not all scholarships we offer have this requirement, and we would like to identify the scholarships that do.

  3. Some donors have committed to attending an event, and we would like the ability to attach event tickets to a promise (with no finance involvement). We cannot use a pledge, as some commitments are paid in various ways and require complex financial processing to adjust and apply payments. Using a promise will enable us to reserve the tickets until payment is applied. This approach will also allow us to present the reserved seats and the remaining balance.

  4. We would like to create a custom letter that exports all the grant data for an organization in a fiscal year - similar to a donation report for funds.

    We are looking at ways to reduce the administrative burden on our grantee partners and one of the things we are looking at is reporting.

    Currently in GLM we require our grant recipient organizations to complete a report for every single grant they receive. As some organizations receive over 10 general purposes grants a fiscal year, they have to complete 10 individual reports. To try and relieve this burden, we would…

  5. When deleting a grant, have a message appear about making sure you want to delete the grant. I've deleted numerous grants on accident and having an extra step would be helpful to prevent this.

  6. We do a lot of importing of scholarships with new students and having the ability to import birthday and gender on the original import template would save the step of a batch update after the import.

  7. When checks are created for regular grants, please also post the payments for internal grants. Csuite used to do this and now internal grants have to be 'paid' one at time. If there was a reason the functionality was changed, please create an ability to batch 'pay' internal grants.

  8. Ability to assign specific campaign permissions? I Create all campaigns, but there are specific staff that manage rsvps for their events. Is there a way to limit access to only apply rsvps to that specific campaign? thanks

  9. Would really like to be able to process payroll through CommunitySuite, either by adding a payroll module to the system or by integrating CommunitySuite with a payroll solution so that would automatically push over the JEs they need to account for payroll each pay period.

  10. It would be helpful for tasks associated with an opportunity to be marked complete or in some way removed from open tasks when the opportunity has been closed. Presently, the tasks stay active, which requires another step to close an opportunity.

Currently if you filter on a financial report to include/exclude a fund that is a subfund, the filtering does not apply unless the "Show Fund" and then "Show SubFund" options are expanded first. The filtering should be able to apply without needing to show the subfunds just as it applies to non-subfunds without needing to show those in the report.

  12. Please include the Fund name/short name on the Pay Vouchers screen. I want to double check that the correct amount is being distributed from the correct fund when paying multiple amounts from multiple funds to the same recipient.

    We have multiple people enter the vouchers/grants and the person approving them doesn't always check the attached/uploaded files to make sure the amount is distributing from the correct fund.

    When I write the check, I need confidence that the correct amount is being distributed from the correct fund. I have the supporting documentation printed and in front of me when writing checks.

  13. Profiles that are flagged Do Not Mail, Do Not Email, and or Do Not Call should not appear in a Campaign. They do not appear on "Mailing Labels", but do appear when you on a CSV File.

  14. We recently moved from Raiser's Edge to CSuite, where we had the option to link a tribute record to an existing profile. It would be great, for continuity purposes, to be able to tie a tribute record to an existing profile. For example, gifts made in honor of our CEO, would be linked to her profile in CSuite. Additionally, tributes made in memory of a deceased individual, would be linked to that individual's profile. I'd love to have the option to make these connections, while still having the ability to add tributes for individuals who do not have profiles.

  15. Please add an option in the Fund Statement Format to roll up subfunds into a master fund statement without rolling the financials together.

    Many fund holders would still like a breakdown for each of their funds but don't want to look at a bunch of separate statements, instead, it would be great if it all lived in a single PDF/document.

    I could see this working similarly to how financials views work in fund statements, if not adding on an additional foreach that allows each sub-fund to generate its own group.

  16. It would be nice if when opening a new fund you could go ahead and create the spendable balance as a recurring annual grant. We don't have just one specific fund group where all the beneficiaries automatically receive the spendable amount. If not possible, is there a way to pull a report of just the funds that are to automatically generate the spendable grant once a year?

  17. It would be great to have Giving Hub customizations (radio buttons for instance), which can be linked to parts of the donation approval/recording process on the Finance side of the transaction.

    For instance, a radio button for Endowed/Spendable that allows donors desiring for a donation to be flowed through to their Spendable balance, which is linked to the Spendable checkbox in the transaction record.

    An option to split the donation between Endowed and Spendable would be great too.

  18. On the donor rollup report, it appears that if someone is part of a household, but has given individually, it’s not showing the date of last gift. It’s blank for the household. If only the household has given, the date is there, but not if someone that is part of that household has given individually. Total donations are there, just not that field. The only way to determine the date of last gift for the household is to examine the regular donor report. You have to look at each member of the household, and isolate the last gift date for…

  20. It would be very helpful if we we could customize the order in which checks and check letters were sorted. We would like to be able to sort by the Grant Letter template. We have eight difficult templates that involve multiple constituencies and a number of letters. If they were grouped, we could process each type all at once which would reduce the opportunity for errors when processing the mailing.
