This setup is very confusing (sponsored org). Our grants with this situation were migrated so the actual sponsored org is the grantee and the sponsoring org is the "sponsored org" - even though the sponsored org ? says it should be the sponsored entity. I see why this was migrated in this way, but we decided to change the method going forward and use the field as it is described (grantee is the registered nonprofit, and sponsored org is the organization being sponsored.
However, in most of these cases, we want to mail the grant check and letter to the sponsored org, while paying the check to the registered nonprofit. There is not a way to set the grant up to do that, and we currently have to make notes in the record and then change it manually at the letter/envelope stage.
I thought I had a semi-solution, in which we could create a grant letter template that would use the mailing address for the sponsored org. BUT that is not possible because the sponsored org address fields are not available for the grant letters.
Could those fields be added to the grant letter fields? Or better yet, can we have an option just like the "Pay Sponsored Org" on the grant record for "Mail to Sponsored Org"?

Every single user would vote for this if they noticed it and knew it would be solved by posting in Idea Lab. I chatted with support about this a couple months ago and was shocked that the answer was "post it in Idea Lab." The old/existing portal is mobile-friendly, and it will be a downgrade if we have to implement a new portal on April 1 that is not mobile-friendly.
