In 2016 we had a department that was way ahead of the game and applied for a grant in early Fall of 2016 on the 2016 process that would be for programming in 2017 (and paid in four installments throughout 2017). Ideally, it should have been requested on the 2017 process so the follow up forms could be from the 2017 process and reporting would only need to be done with the 2017 process.   5. Would be insanely helpful if you could search for keywords or phrases not associated with the tag, process, or stage of the project. For example, our applications have a dropdown menu from which applicants can choose a speaker to visit their organization. If we are looking for all applications for one particular speaker, is there a way to search for the applicants who answered that speaker's name for that question?

  6. I'd love to be able to search for an organization from any page in the software (i.e. a search bar along the header) rather than having to click on "Organization" under Contacts - it just saves me one click, but they really add up!

  7. Under the Follow Ups Workload page, the option was recently removed to see what follow up form was submitted. We have multiple people who are responsible for different follow ups, so this update now requires everyone to click the project name, then go to the follow ups section within the organization's request to see what was submitted, taking up additional staff time. It would be great to see this option return, or make the view customizable.

    It would also be helpful to add a “Due Date” column to see what follow ups have due dates approaching or are past due.

  8. It would be great to have the ability to assign a followup form to a denied applicant. For example, if you want to survey all applicants on the ease of the application process, it would be great to have a followup form to assign to all applicants - both denied and approved.

  9. After applications come in, there are some we deny right away because they are not eligible. However, the majority of decisions are not made until 2 months later at the board meeting. We do not want these early denials to be visible until all applications have been decided. Now, our "visible to applicants X days after decision" is set to 14 days, but that's not enough. However, if we made it any longer (say, 65 days), then decisions previously made (and were previously visible to applicants) are suddenly gone, which is confusing to applicants.

  10. We manage 17 different community foundation grant programs through Foundant and LOVE the access codes. However, after someone enters the access code to apply to the correct Foundation, the screen refreshes with the long list of access codes still at the top of the page. It is very confusing to users because the page looks exactly the same and they don't realize they have to scroll down to see the available applications. It would be great if somehow the access codes were removed after the refresh so that only the available applications were displayed, or if it were rearranged so…

  11. Is it possible to add the function (button) to export all forms and other documents associated with a request into a single PDF? Presently, the user has to go into each form individually.

  12. I used to be able to search follow ups by form name. With the latest release, the application workload shows a line for each follow up assigned to a request, but if I want to know who has a specific follow up in draft I have to run a report instead of just clicking on the draft and searching by form name. Not happy about that.

  13. I would like to have the option to pull reports in Foundant "as of" a certain date. We use information stored in Foundant for grants management, as well as for accounting and tax purposes. It would be extremely helpful to be able to pull reports in Foundant "as of 12/31/2015" or "as of 8/31/2016" etc. A common need for us is to know what was outstanding as of the end of a certain month, quarter, or year, and currently is very difficult to get that information.   14. When a staff evaluator is reviewing an application, there are times when the organization has received or applied previously. Ideally, the evaluator should have the ability to view this past information to see what was funded as well as read the follow up grant reports.

  15. Before moving to an online system, we allowed a 6-page total application length. Applicants could use the 6 pages how they chose, giving long answers to some questions and short answers to others as long as they didn't exceed total length. We want that same functionality online with a TOTAL character count per process, instead of an answer-by-answer character count.

  16. When sending an email to multiple users (one email address in the To field, and one or more in the CC field), it would be helpful for the email to show up in the email history for all users emailed (included those that were CC'ed).

  18. It would be nice to not have to manually go into each question in a process to select "Optional" or "Required" at times. If at the top, we could select "ALL REQUIRED" or the same for optional, then we can edit individual questions if we want the opposite. This would be nice for when we wish to accept applicants that don't have their complete application filled out once we reach our deadline so we don't have to go through every question, or for when we create new processes. Just a thought!

  19. Today's release is confusing: when you go to make a payment already in the system, you now have to click Add a Payment. The previous language (Make/View a Payment) made more sense. If this change is permanent, it should be explained in the release notes.

  20. We have had to remind a grantee to complete the correct budget form and re-submit their application...a couple of times. It would be helpful if "re-send emails" were part of the application and/or contact email history.
