Tax Receipt For Gift With Multiple Designations
Our grantmaking organization has one large fundraiser each year for 20+ nonprofits. We often have donors who send one check that is distributed across several different nonprofits' funds. When a donor gives one check for one nonprofit, we are able to create a tax receipt using custom fields to share where the gift is routed to. In other words, the tax receipt includes the nonprofit fund, the nonprofit beneficiary, the gift amount, etc.
However, if a check is distributed across multiple nonprofits and funds, this method does not work. We have not found a way to create a tax receipt template that would satisfy this need. I've attached a photo to this submission for context.
