Spendable Calculation
For our use with scholarships and our budgets it would be helpful to allow the user within foundant to designate the years we are calculating the three-year average. For example, our scholarship budget is due in the fall of one academic year, and it's created before the end of the FY. Therefore, we need to be able to calculate the average of the three years prior. So, for example, to calculate the FY26 Spending it was calculated off the EOFY 2025, 2024 and 2023. We need it to be calculated off of EOFY 2024, 2023, 2022. The ability to change our percentage is there, but we cannot tell it what years to calculate off of. For us and the dates in which we need budgets built and approved requires this ability. Without this ability of telling, it which fiscal years to average then we are having to not use that function and hand calculate the spendable balance.
