Merge Staff and Fund Advisor Users
We have 4 Staff Members who are also Fund Advisors. Currently, we need to have 2 separate user profiles for them because their work email is used so that they can navigate and process in CSuite/GLM. Their other CSuite profile is used with their personal email so that they can navigate within the Fund Advisor Portal.
It would be nice if there would be some type of profile/user merge that would allow them to use one email address or the other so that we only have 1 profile entered in CSuite.
For example: 1 CSuite Profile - 2 email addresses…

Hide an org or grantee profile from fund advisor portal search
Our use case is around scholarship only org profiles showing up for fund advisors to search causing numerous problems and confusion, but there are other applications for this. So, similar to hiding funds, consider adding a checkbox either on a org profile or grantee layer that prevents the profile from being searchable via the fund advisor portal when looking for grantees.
3 votesHere is a link to a help article that explains how to make a vendor record inactive. This can be done in bulk. When a vendor record is inactive and there is a grantee designation on the profile, it is removed from the fund advisor search. You can still create grants to inactive grantee's from the back end. https://support.foundant.com/hc/en-us/articles/4414050001303-Bulk-Activate-or-Inactivate-Vendors-and-Grantees

Alerts for Checks
When creating a note, is there a way to create an alert area for "Checks" so that way when a check or check batch is being created, all alerts for the profiles with a payment in the check/check batch can be alerted at the top?
7 votesSUMMIT IDEA LAB: 5/7/2024- Notes: Added the ability to add a Note Alert for Checks. This will allow users to create an alert to appear during the check writing process. When creating a check batch from Accounts Payable, users will see the alerts above the Pay selection table. This will allow users to confirm any special request before processing checks in batch. When processing a single check, the alert will appear at the top of the individual check record. No permission change.

New Login Detected - ip address location was not correct
We moved this weekend and I received an email notification of "New Login Detected". However, the location is not correct. It is in the correct state but not even close to the correct city. We contacted Support to make sure the email was in reference to my own login and were told that the "there are many things that can change locations. ISPs will connect you to any random route so the email notification could show that you're in one place when you're really in another". If this is the case, I would suggest either not listing the location at…
4 votesImplemented 4/25/2024: Summit Idea Lab-Users: Updated the language on the email reporting a new login for users to help clarify that location is not exact.

Allow Organization roles to be added from any profile/profile type
When the change was made to allow org roles to be linked with organizations and households (4-5-2024) you have to start at the organization you want to link from. It is no longer allowed from an individual to link to an organization. Please put the original ability to link from the individual to the organization back.
11 votes05-09-2024: Profiles: Resolved an issue with users no longer being able to link a profile to organization from the individual profile record.

Ability to tag merge profiles that don't appear in Engagement tab
To my knowledge we can only tag merge profiles that appear in the Engagement tab on a profile. It would be helpful if there was a way to tag two profiles for merging that don't appear in the engagement tab.
We like using the tag merge feature so staff can recommend records to merge so other staff who are assigned that ability can make the determination to do so. Sometimes we find records that we think might be duplicates that don't appear under Engagement which would make this feature helpful.
1 voteIn a profile record, there is a left side menu option titled Merge. After selecting Merge, you will be prompted to search for the profile record that needs to be merged.

Archive option for Scholarship page
Create an option to archive closed scholarships on the main CSuite scholarship list page. This will help clean up everyone's list to make it only active scholarships while still preserving historical scholarship/ fund data.

ALL funds to show in the drop down-list, instead of ONLY Promoted funds
Fund Advisors cannot submit internal grants to other funds unless the receiving fund is being promoted.
We would like Fund Advisors to be able to submit internal grants to any fund, but we do not want to promote all funds.2 votesThere is a settings option in Fund Advisors, Show Non-Promoted Funds that can be enabled to allow Fund Advisors to see all funds (unless they are marked private).

Grant "request" tab
It would be most helpful to see notes to staff when viewing listed grants on screen. Some notes include details needing immediate attention in regard to the timeliness of processing the grant recommendation. As of now, the only way to see these notes is by selecting each one individually and checking to see if there are any notes. Even when a report is created, it does not include all notes for some reason. And the report only applies after the grants have been moved to the New bucket.
1 voteThis was released on 2/28/2024:
Notes: Added the ability to share a note. When adding a note, users will see a new checkbox: Share. This will allow users to share a note with the different personas on the Portal. This functionality is complete in the backed of CSuite but NOT completed on the Portal. Currently, if a user shares a note on a grant it will display on the the grant record in the Fund Advisor portal, but no other notes will appear in the Fund Advisor Portal.

Remove from campaign filter
There is no longer an option to use the invited to campaign filter and remove it from a campaign. You can select invited to campaign and add profiles to a different campaign, but there is no remove from campaign option for the invited to campaign filter. This makes for a lot manual work when trying to remove a specific group of profiles from a campaign.
1 voteWhen in a Campaign, select the profiles tab, then the left side menu option to +Update Profiles. Next, select either profiles or donations (this would depend which filters you need). After adding the filter, you can select -Remove from Campaign from the left hand menu to remove the profiles in bulk.

Creating a dropdown list for a fund advisor to choose among all other advisors who the GRANT ADVISOR should be for a grant created on the portal. In other words, the fund advisor logging in with his own profile is submitting a grant on behalf of another person listed on the fund who has a different profile.
2 votesThere is an option in a Fund record to allow additional advisors. This is found in a fund record, under the settings tab. This can also be done in bulk. Here is a snippet from the Fund help article: Allow Additional Advisors - Allows fund advisors to make grant requests on behalf of other advisors. This does not need to be selected to have more than one fund advisor setup on a fund.

Selecting the Fund Advisor to be recognized for Grants submitted on the Advisor Portal
When an advisor is using the portal to submit a grant, there should be a dropdown list to choose who should recognized for the grant among approved advisors for the fund.

New User records should default to "Individual" profile types rather than "Organization" profile types
New "User" records should create an associated "Individual" profile type rather than an "Organization" profile type.
Why does adding a new "User" to CSuite create an "Organization" profile type? Our users are people (individuals). Every time we hire new staff we have to manually convert the profile record to an individual type, and then change the profile's "org" name from "John Smith" to "Community Foundation for...". The default should be an individual record type.
3 votesReleased on 5/14/24:
Profiles: Updated Profiles to incorporate the user as a designation. This will create a new workflow when creating users. First, a profile will need to be created and then "Make" the new profile a user from the designation list. With this update, if a user is also a fund advisor, the user login information will supersede the fund advisor login information. These changes were necessary to move towards a single sign on. To easily identify profiles of both, users and fund advisors, there is a new left-side menu in Users called Login Duplicates. This will display any profiles that have user logins duplicated. Once the list of duplicates is resolved, the profiles will remove from the list.

Campaigns: "Convert to Guest" should Retain Contact Information
We work very hard to get our ticket purchasers to complete their guest information. But when they do and we select "Convert to Guest", the contact information entered on the guest record is NOT copied into the new profile. This is requiring duplicate work. Can we please have CSuite save the contact information from the guest record into the new profile?
23 votes03-11-2024: Campaigns: Resolved an issue when converting Guests to Profiles leaves off contact information.

Schedule a report with a sliding date
The ability to schedule custom reports with a sliding date filter. For example: a weekly report of all donations that were received in the past week sent to our development team every Monday. Currently we have select the entire year and sort it by date to pull most recent to the top and then they have to ignore or delete the older grants. While this is functional the sliding date feature would be a tremendous improvement.
1 voteThere is currently an option to do this. Use the relative date filter. So for your use case, selective Relative last week and schedule the report to be emailed each Monday.

1099 report based on check date, not invoice date
Please correct the 1099 report to show totals based on payment date, not invoice date.
1 voteThe 1099 report is based on check date. If you see a different outcome than that, please contact support. I just tested this in my test site and it was populating the report correctly.

Donation page enhancements
It would be great to have a streamlined donation page that has a customizable heading and intro text and also has a dropdown of funds rather than a long list of funds. It would also be nice to have the user be able to input their contact and billing information on a single page or at least fewer steps than it takes now to donate. The easier the donation experience for users, the more likely they'll donate and finish their transactions.
