New User records should default to "Individual" profile types rather than "Organization" profile types
New "User" records should create an associated "Individual" profile type rather than an "Organization" profile type.
Why does adding a new "User" to CSuite create an "Organization" profile type? Our users are people (individuals). Every time we hire new staff we have to manually convert the profile record to an individual type, and then change the profile's "org" name from "John Smith" to "Community Foundation for...". The default should be an individual record type.
Released on 5/14/24:
Profiles: Updated Profiles to incorporate the user as a designation. This will create a new workflow when creating users. First, a profile will need to be created and then "Make" the new profile a user from the designation list. With this update, if a user is also a fund advisor, the user login information will supersede the fund advisor login information. These changes were necessary to move towards a single sign on. To easily identify profiles of both, users and fund advisors, there is a new left-side menu in Users called Login Duplicates. This will display any profiles that have user logins duplicated. Once the list of duplicates is resolved, the profiles will remove from the list.
