  1. Test System Emails Before Sending

    We need a way to test send emails from the system, particularly those that go with fund statements. Even though we can see the preview in Content, this doesn't simulate how different email providers will handle the email. Both times we've sent out our quarterly fund statements, despite our best efforts, we realize a mistake only after seeing it hit fund advisors' actual inboxes.

  2. Default Grant Fields

    Service Area, Grant Type (for which we use NTEE codes), and Grant Advisor must be entered for every grant. It would be helpful if the Service Area and Grant Type were default based on the profile of the grantee, and the Grant Advisor were default based on the fund.

  3. Csuite files: Add "create folder" ability to funds/Donor Portal files

    Would it be possible to add the ability to have folders for funds and within the Donor Portal? We are finding the ability to add files useful, but having the ability to organize files into folders would be more efficient and make the files easier to find. Thanks!

  4. Bank reconcile - approvals and log

    For stronger internal controls, our auditors recommended the addition of two pieces to the Bank Reconciliation process in CSuite:

    1. Approvals, to support our actual workflow. We have one team member that reconciles the account, and another that approves the work. It would be wonderful if we could enable approvals like we can with Vouchers or other areas of the system.

    2. Log, showing the date/time and username who processed the bank rec. If approvals were turned on it could document when each step happened. Rather than only being able to see a history report that it was done, we need to…

  5. Print grant letters for checks only and email grant letters for electronic grants only

    Currently, if a check run has both electronic and check grants, every grant letter is printed when you click print grant letters and every grant letter is emailed when you click email grant letters.
    It would be great if the system only emailed grant letters for grants that are being paid electronically, and only printed grant letters for the grant s being paid by check.
    Alternatively, another set of buttons could be added to "Email grant letters - electronic" and "Email grant letters - checks", etc so that folks can still get letters for the full check run if needed.

  6. Financial View Copy Option

    We have many funds (outside of DAF and Endowment Funds) and each one needs a little unique financial reporting needs. It would be great if I can copy a Financial View design and tweak it as needed, instead of creating from scratch each time. Thank you.

  7. Ability to Delete a Task

    PLEASE - build in the ability to build a task. We have recently had several deceased individuals with tasks and opportunities assigned. We need to be able to delete them, rather than marking them as done. This is so important due to the fact that we are tracking our tasks completed for board reporting and so simply cannot mark something as done that was not, and no longer needs to be done.

  8. Ability to Sort Columns in Balance Swap

    We are having a tough time making our balance swap an efficient process. It would help tremendously to be able to sort any of the columns in the "Balance Swaps as Needed" section. Being able sort the "account to" and "account from" columns would be amazing, but all of them would be great. Thanks

    It would be helpful that when choosing a grant advisor when creating a grant, that you can only select the profiles of fund advisors that it is applicable to, instead of the entire database coming up to choose.

  10. Grant Catalog Search Function

    It would be so nice to have a search bar at the top of the Grant Catalog so donors looking for a specific charity instead of scrolling thru dozens they can type in and the one they are looking for will pop up???!! PLEASE!!!! Thanks!

    Now that we have the ability to email grant award letters (yay!) it would be so helpful to have the option to email the letter to multiple email address in addition to the primary email via Check run Batches.

  13. Campaigns

    Collecting information about each Registrant for an event, free or paid, seems to be an after thought. When the initial individual registers, the only data that is being collected is F/L names, and email, yet when a guest is added, all sorts of information is being gathered. This is assuming that all initial Registrants are in our database - not true. So by not providing more options for data collection you are in fact making mayhem in our database.

    Similarly, the event registration suggests it's a Paid program - we don't do paid events (at least not for the past…

    We do have some work in process for this – campaign flow for registrations has some holes that we didn’t anticipate because of not having credit card data for a registrant. Will add the ability for a free registrant to fill in as much details as event guest and will be changing a few names (like “Buy More Tickets” will become “Add More Tickets”) to make the flow less monetary based.

  14. Ability to edit attached file descriptions

    It would be nice to be able to edit the description of the files attached to Funds and other areas. If there is a typo or other reason to change document title you have to delete the attachment and reattach to put in correct description.

  15. Automatic tribute emails

    When online donors indicate a tribute name and email address, the tribute recipient should receive the templated tribute letter automatically, just as the donor receives their donation acknowledgment automatically.

  16. Adding an 'Other Detail' to the Email Fields

    It would be helpful if there was a field in the Email area to add a short note or bit of information. For example, we have fund holders who have given us their executive assistant's email. A note next to the address would clarify why the email address is there.

    Show donor primary address/phone/email on Donor Portal and allow Donor to submit an update to this information. Update would move to a queue and staff would review and make updates as needed.

  19. Public Securities Reports

    It would be great to have a reporting option for the Public Securities data in our system. Especially for annual stock distribution reporting. A report that has the options to include quantities, donation amount, sales price, highs, lows, etc.
