New field in Organization record view without going into edit mode

We were recently excited to learn Foundant had added a new field in the org record that will allow us to populate our foundation data base ID number ONCE for each organization instead of for EACH application. The ID code in this field allows us to easily upload into our FIMS database to process payments against specific fund pools.

Now we are just being picky but would it be possible to view that field in the org record without going into the edit mode? Just like we can see the org record information like website, taxid, address...

    Hi all,

    As of the 4.7.0 release (Tuesday, Aug. 5), this field is now viewable on the Organization Summary page without having to go into edit the organization.

    I would find it much easier to be able to have our FIMS
    database Profile ID number visible from that field also, without having to edit
    the organization profile, which just adds another step to a sometime multi-step
    process. It would enable me to see if it has been added at a glance. I
    too agree that I could live with whatever label you need to call it, as long as
    I know where to look for it. Thanks.

    Hi Sally,

    You're not being picky at all :-) ... I can certainly understand how it would be a much better user experience to see this field without having to edit the organization. Since clients might use this field differently (some might use it as you do - for your database ID - while others might use it to hold a different value), we're still working through how to label it in the organization summary. I could potentially see just labeling it "Organization Identifier" for now ... but probably need to get some internal feedback before we add that to the product.

    We'll keep working through the details of how to best expose this. I'll keep you posted as we get closer to adding this.
