Custom URLs
I'd love to be able to customize the URL to our grants portal.
Right now, I feel silly saying to our grantees: "You can access our grants portal here: https://www.grantinterface.com/Common /LogOn.aspx?eqs=ph_BjRFP96u-8PaY4j7weg2."
It would be nice if there was a way to change this to a nicer URL like " http://www.grantinterface.com/rihumanities. " We can do this with our facebook page and eventbrite events...why not our grants portal?

As another option. What I've done is create a subdomain with our hosting provider that simply redirects to our grantinterface.com page. The makes it so that we can just do grants.ourdomain.org and it will take them to the correct page.

Carole Ann, I used https://bitly.com/" rel="nofollow">https://bitly.com/ to create our own URL for the process. It's free to use and you can do the same. You can access our application system by visiting: http://bit.ly/ArtsKCGrantApplications

Carole Ann,
One other thing, you could use this: https://www.grantinterface.com/rich/Common/LogOn.aspx
Note that it when you actually go to that site, the URL that you see in the address bar will get modified to what was in your original post. However, it is a nicer URL to be able to tell someone.
Hope that helps, and we'll continue to keep in mind a better solution.
Thanks,

Hi Carole Ann,
Thanks for taking time to post an idea with which I'm sure others would agree. As an alternative to what you suggest, I'd like to be able to do something more like:
At this point, we just have other more critical pieces of functionality to address. However, I think your suggestion makes total sense and would be a "win" for nearly all users. So as we find time to investigate, we'll continue looking for a way to implement this in they way you suggest or the alternative I'm proposing.
Thanks again for the suggestion,
-chris
