Shared Documents - Access per Process
It would be very beneficial to allow Shared Documents to be uploaded per Process. Currently if you upload shared documents, all board members in other processes can also see anything that is uploaded. We are unable to use this for our committees for this reason and I have to e-mail the documents versus the board members being able to review them in Foundant.

We recently began using GLM and ran into this problem pretty quickly. We have several committees that all need different documents for their meetings. Would love to see this idea regain some momentum.

I agree, this is DEFINITELY needed as we have our board meeting materials uploaded to shared documents which we would not necessarily want other reviewers associated with other processes to review. Please bring this to the top to be addressed.

This idea is still very much needed! Our Foundation is trying to expand our giving circle opportunities, so we are adding more evaluators. Shared Documents was a great tool when we just had one giving circle to share grant reports from prior years, Rubrics, Site Visit questions, etc. But now what we are adding more evaluators, it is not appropriate for them to see that material from other giving circles.
For example, one of the evaluators from our 2nd giving circle is a community member who also works as the CEO of a nonprofit that applies for our 1st giving circle. It is not appropriate for her to have access to the decision-making documents from the 1st giving circle when the other applicants do not.
Can we please somehow restrict which evaluators have access to which shared documents?

I wish I could vote on this twice. I so agree!

This would protect the privacy of information contained in shared documents by limiting it to only those staff evaluators who are meant to see it. This would be very helpful with scholarships in which there are numerous processes, each with a specific set of evaluators.

Agreed. This is a constant source of frustration for me in working with evaluators.

This would be very helpful for us as well. I could envision using it to share pdfs of grant reports.
