  1. I created a template I need to delete. I can't delete it because it is the default, and there is no other template in that category. We just don't need one in that category. But having one bad one isn't great either - I just want to delete it.

  2. Would like to be able to move a campaign that you set up in Sandbox to live CSuite at once. It is nice to be able to create and edit a campaign in Sandbox, but once you perfect it in Sandbox, it is a pain to recreate the whole thing in the live site. Would love a "move this entire campaign to CSuite live" option (could come with a potential warning when you click "move to live".

  3. It would be very helpful to be able to edit the calculated admin fees prior to posting. Similar to how distributions/spending calculations can be edited prior to posting.

  4. The ability to create additional account types would be a huge timesaver. The Account Types offered currently are too few in number and can't possibly align with the account types (or groupings) of the typical user. Custom account types would also simply the process of creating financial views.

  5. Please make Grant Notify specific to the advisor who made the recommendation. There are many funds with multiple advisors and only the person who recommended the grant should receive notification that it has arrived or is being paid. Telling all the relatives every time one makes a grant is intrusive.

  6. We are using opportunities and opportunity tasks to help with reporting on development activities. This often requires creating an number of tasks to detail some of the ongoing activities in a more dynamic way than is offered by a recurring task.

    I would love to see a new function in opportunities to add a "Task Flow" which would add a list of tasks and time frames at once. These flows could be custom designed for different development activities in an ideal world and could even further follow advanced logic if built out completely.

    For example: A development lunch.

  7. It would be helpful if a donor would get an email notification, or be able to see a notification pop up on their portal homepage when we have uploaded a document into the portal portal, or shared a file. Basically any updates since they last logged in.

We have donors who have designated multiple fund beneficiaries and request that one beneficiary receive a dollar amount, and then the others receive percentages of what is then available each year. Or several beneficiaries are to receive specific amounts and a final one to receive 100% of the residual. The work-around to set up recurring grants and process them before the percentages kick in is an opportunity for mistakes and is not sustainable for these perpetual grants. Please create the option of having a blend of percentages and fixed amounts so that we can fulfill donor intent efficiently. THANKS.

  9. The only search function that allows you to search using ID #s is the main search bar on the top left of the home page. It would be great if the ID # search would be available in all search areas instead of having to type in the fund name, profile name, etc. We are at the beginning phases of using CSuite and have multiple profiles that have the same name. It is impossible to find the correct profile when searching only by name. Using ID search in all areas would help keep errors to a minimum.

  10. It would be very helpful if the fund statement field available for equity accounts - equity_(account number) - were available for all account types (income, expenses, assets, liabilities). We have some unique calculations that are needed for certain fund types and if we could just pull account balances from specific accounts, we would be able to do the calculations on the template. But since the various account types (except Equity) can only be displayed within their own "block", we are unable to make these calculations and therefore have to produce the statements outside of CommunitySuite.

I know there was already an idea submission about marking custom reports as a "favorite" and it was marked as implemented when the categories were added, but as one poster noted, the categories don't solve this request. Categories are company-wide and favorites are specific to the user. I cannot use a category to mark my favorites. Please consider re-opening this issue.

  12. It would be nice to have the ability to apply a percentage or dollar amount of a donation to the spendable and the remainder to the endowed portion. We have some funds that have been setup this way but currently the donation has to be entered as two separate donations in order to achieve the split.

  13. Nice that you added the ability to designate required fields for profiles. An enhancement would be to indicate which fields are required when creating a new profile --- such as an asterisk or red field label to indicate that a field is required. Rather than clicking Save only to find that those fields were not filled in.

  14. If there is a market loss, there is potential that a fund could be pushed under water without any kind of warning. Would like the system to pop up a warning if posting revenue share will push the fund under water.

  15. On fund statement templates, be able to pull the fund advisor name and company in a normal usage AND SALUTATION.
    For example templates currently pull info like this:

    Doe, John
    123 Main Street
    Anytown, OH 43003

    Dear Doe, John:
    (no company, backwards name, and no salutaion)

    It would be reasonable to expect:
    John Doe
    The Doe Company
    123 Main Street
    Anytown, OH 43003

    Dear John:

    I have been able to get the name in correct order by putting it in the mailing label but it doesn't pull the company name unless I put it in the address section, which of…

  17. Although the bulk edits are handy, it would be better if we could do the edits by fund group or some other filter. The "Set Tab Permissions" button has this functionality, but the "Set notify" and "Set Statement Type" do not - it is all or nothing. All the bulk edits should have the same functionality.

  18. We would like to link the profile of the Professional Advisor and/or Firm who brought a donor to our organization within the Opportunity. Currently we are using a Custom Field (Text) but would like the ability to link the opportunity directly to the profile of the referral source.

  20. It would be great if there was a way for fund advisors to see their fund activity broken down by year in the portal. For example, they could click on "2023" and see all the donations, grants, etc. for that specific year in one place.
