ID # search
The only search function that allows you to search using ID #s is the main search bar on the top left of the home page. It would be great if the ID # search would be available in all search areas instead of having to type in the fund name, profile name, etc. We are at the beginning phases of using CSuite and have multiple profiles that have the same name. It is impossible to find the correct profile when searching only by name. Using ID search in all areas would help keep errors to a minimum.

I agree, IDs are unique and allow for reduced errors. Having consistency to search for IDs and names, and having the IDs displayed would increase accuracy and reduce the need to double check if we are on the right record.

Greater Milwaukee has expressed interest in this functionality as well.

As Dedie mentioned, there are a number of areas in CSuite where the ID also isn't even visible when searching - like custom reports when filtering by profile, merging profiles and selecting the other profile, changing the grantee on a grant, etc. It would be a big help if the ID was at least included in the search results after the name. If we could also search by ID in addition to name, that would be great also. Without this, there's a higher chance for mistakes. Sometimes, we have to keep guessing at the search until the right record is selected.

We have over 3 thousand funds, some of which are named very similar things. Searching by fund ID numbers would eliminate many errors as well as save so much time.

In all areas, allow Profile ID to populate at end of profile name search to help with confidence in selecting the correct profile.
