I agree with much of the feedback, as well as specific suggestions already provided. I would highlight specifically:
- Previously, the process was linear, and the fields connected to each other when entering a donation were close to each other: payment type/check number, tax acknowledgement drop-down/check box to choose if an acknowledgement is necessary, etc. Having these fields spread out across the page causes unnecessary scrolling.
- The "Process" button in the middle does not make sense. We require several pieces of information that are below the Process button, which causes unnecessary scrolling.
- While I understand the appeal of having multiple columns in the view, it does not take into consideration individuals who may need their font larger on their screen, therefore forcing the multiple column view back into one column, and ultimately forcing more scrolling.
- And finally, please consider the time of year when rolling out updates. The fourth quarter is when the bulk of our donations are processed, and having to learn a new system during this time was unwelcome.
