JE Reports Don't Include Reversing JEs; GL Reports Don't Include JE Creator Nor Approver
For JE object custom reports, all transactions are tied to the same Journal Entry ID, which prevents the report from capturing reversal entries. For example, if a prior-year JE is reversed in the current year, the reversal will not appear when pulling current-year JEs.
The report should include reversal dates, transaction IDs, and account numbers. It should also present reversing entries as separate lines (ideally at the individual line-item level), rather than linking everything back to a single Journal Entry ID.
For audit purposes, we need a complete report of all manual JEs. Currently, this requires pulling two separate reports because the GL report only has fields for the person who posted the entry - not the person who created it nor the person who approved it.

I found it surprising that reversals are not included in reports as their own entry. Every accounting software I have worked with in nearly 30 years shows the original and then the reversal as their own transactions. Especially when those two transactions are in different periods.
