  1. Currently the grant notification to grantees includes one default email and the option to manually add a second email notice. Is it possible to allow us to have a second default email load rather than adding manually. We have a number of grantees who have two people they want to receive a notice and it is not conducive to have to always remember to add the second person.

  2. We closed a fund and wanted to add a note, but closed funds apparently can't appear in the "Fund (Optional)" field on the Add Note screen.

  3. I would like the ability to add an alert at the General Ledger account level like I can add in profiles when making a payment to alert grants and vouchers? I sometimes have to notify other staff members when using certain GL numbers for payables and grants for other processes that may be needed and I don't have a way to create the alert at the GL level which would be extremely helpful.

  4. When I create print letters to notify folks that a tribute gift was made, I typically make edits to the letters before printing and sending. However, if someone has selected to notify the tribute via email, I am unable to edit the letter.

    Could there be a setting to toggle off this option on our website so that the public can only choose to notify people via snail mail?

    Or could the system allow me to edit my letter before it is emailed?

  5. Adding an On/Off toggle to the "Post By Payment" dimension for scholarship creation would be helpful for our Foundation. We’ve requested that members of our scholarships team not use the “Post By Payment” feature when creating scholarships, but it still happens on occasion by mistake. This causes a variance between the General Ledger and the Grants by Fund Report which our Finance Team prefers to avoid when possible for a variety of reasons.

  6. The "Forgot Password" link on the login page only appears after a user has a failed login attempt - but it should be present on the login screen always.

    Many staff members know they've forgotten their password and thus don't even bother trying to log in. This leads to a significant number of calls to our internal helpdesk, and we always have to tell users "it's a dumb thing that Foundant does, but you'll need to have at least one failed login attempt and then you can reset your password."   7. It would be extremely helpful to our workflow to have the Grant Administrator included as a column. If blank, this lets the team know the grant needs further work before it can be paid. Without this column there is no way to tell if an administrator has reviewed the grant.

  8. Currently there is no expiry for re-ocurring tasks, you can set it up for intervals only which will continue until you remove them. At times, tasks are for a term period for example 2024-2028. Currently, in the year of 2028, you'd have to remember that the term was only 5 years and delete the task. This poses risk to process a task that shouldn't, vs having the option to input an expiry date for the task reminder to end in 2028.

When Checkrun is processed, C-Suite populates the next highest number check in the "What Is The First Check Number" prompt when a new check batch is created rather than the last check number used. When we converted data we had historical check number sequences higher than current check stock in use. Therefore, the wrong check number populates. Suggestion is that the system use a timestamp for the last check used rather than a sequential number currently used. There are valid reasons historical check numbers would fall out of sequence.Check, First Check, Checkrun, Check Batch, Confirm and Post Checks, Check Run

  10. It would add so much to our internal workflow if permissions allowed us to specify access to custom fields on each record type. For example, we track succession plans as a custom field on the fund record. Our fund liaisons want to be able to edit those selections if/when a fundholder changes them. However we cannot give them access to edit the custom field on the fund record without them having full access to edit a fund record (which we do not want).

  11. It would be nice to have the option to transfer/share the File Categories to the Fund/Donor Portal and be able to sort them as needed. ie. We share Thank you letters with some Advisors, by uploading and selecting the proper category in CSuite, it could sync over the Category and file to the files tab in the portal. This option would also make it easier to view for Fund Advisors.

  12. It would be nice for our parent funds to be able to see the total fund balance (total of all sub-funds) on the home screen of the fund advisor portal. Currently it is showing current balance and available balance as $ . on all our parent funds.

We need a way to pull first grant date and last grant date on the grantee level (current functionality is only on the fund level) to track our new grantees and review inactive grantees (we consider any org that has not received a grant in the past 3 years to be inactive). These are included in our dashboard reports for committees and board.

  14. It would be a nice feature if you could alpha-sort opportunities. We utilize opportunities for a lot of different things and it takes a lot of time to look through them when you can't alpha-sort. I have tried the column at the top, but nothing happens.

  17. Please offer an option to edit a pledge after it's creation; whether it be to change the amount (accidental zeroes happen!) or change the donor from a household to an individual, it should be allowed to edit. Having to delete or 'write off' a pledge if a mistake occurs can have large and messy complications in our financials. This was posted previously but did not get moved along. Thank you!

  18. Add bulk option to 'Set Notify' on a custom report so that a profile type can be used to isolate only main advisors on funds to receive the notifications. Currently, only option is to bulk add 'Set Notify' on the fund advisor page which would add the notification to all advisors on every fund.

  19. To help increase the efficiency of processing scholarship payments that need to be payable to the student; a bulk action to set grantee to student would be beneficial. Currently, it requires creating the student profiles in CSuite first via a bulk import with the is grantee, is vendor, is student designation then you have to create the scholarship award (manually, via import or through integration).   20. When we import a Voucher upload, there's no field for a GL subfund, so we have to go in after upload and choose the different subfunds for our GL codes. Would like to have this field included in the upload, so don't have to do this manual after-step.
