New administrator automatically added to all administrator email notifications
When I added our new CEO as an administrator to our site, he was automatically added to all email notifications that go to administrators. With the 5.0 release, it requires a lot of work to go into each folllow up form and each step of each process to remove him from the notifications. It would be great if there were either a way at the start to indicate whether you want a new administrator to be added to all or none of the notifications (and then they can be added specifically where applicable) or a way to see which notifications a given administrator will receive in one place (ideally, which you could then check or uncheck). Thanks!

Hi all,
As of 5.6.0 - released to Production on Tuesday, September 1 - there is now a way to see and manage notifications to administrators on the "Edit Contact" page. At the bottom of that page, there is a grid showing all the notifications that an Administrator could be assigned to, and it is here that the notification assignments can be more easily managed.
Thanks again for the suggestion.

Hi Melissa and Vonda,
Totally agree - great feedback. We went back and forth on this when we added it, and the reality was that we didn't have time to implement an "ideal" solution at the time.
By late August, though, we will be adding a "notification list" on the Edit Contact page. This will list out all the notifications that an administrator is assigned (and will include contextual information like Process Name, Notification Type, Email Template Name, etc. Administrators will be able to then add or remove each notification for a given administrator. We'll also try to add an option that lets you indicate whether or not they should be added or not to all notifications. This is a bit more of a "nice-to-have" so we'll see what we can do in the time we have.
Let me know if this seems like it will work, and thanks for the suggestion!

Agreed! I have just run into this issue with a new manager at our foundation. Not only did do you have to update all active forms, you also have to update any archived forms that may have forms that still need to be completed.
