Not yet. We are currently working on a change to report field functionality. As part of that, the export data functionality will be impacted. I'm not yet sure if we will be allowing the saving of export data criteria as part of this release or as a subsequent release, but it is something that will be addressed.

I've used export data myself to help users, and I know first hand how frustrating it can be to have to redo the settings each time. While it has been high on my personal list, other functionality has been a higher priority based on user input. That said, I'm very much looking forward to having this feature implemented.

It would be very helpful to have the ability to save export data criteria. It is very tiresome to have to set up the same criteria across four processes.

Hi Anne,

We've been working on our backlog (list of future features) and this is high on the list. I'm not sure what the exact design or function will be yet but saving the export configurations and naming them is the first step. I'd like to work in the functionality like Aaron has brought up but I'm not sure if this is possible yet. The error frustrates our support team as well because they're working in Export Data everyday. When I start designing this, I'll add the option to go back and modify to the spec. Then the Development team will tell us if it's possible or not. If you have more thoughts around this be sure to let me know!! I'll keep this post updated as I know more about the spec and a timeline.

Aaron,

It is very persnickity around configuration and generally one must start from the top when making changes. We can look at that. It should be easier for one to perform more iterative refining of exports. I believe our new reporting platform should also address this issue to some extent. Thank you,

It would also be nice if we could use the 'back' button to make a small change in the data we just exported. When I try it I get an error code and have to redo all the settings of the export to make a relatively minor change.
