Grant Application "draft" as Administrator doesn't exist
Please add a "Save" button to the bottom of the Grant Application from the administrator view.
Right now, I can only "Approve", "Deny", or hit "Applicatin Complete". . . . .well, what if it's not really complete???? It would be nice to be able to save it as a "draft", just like our users can.

Hi all,
I'm happy to announce that with our 4.1.0 release on February 4, 2014, administrators doing Manual Grant entry can now save applications as "draft" and return to work on it later. Thanks again for the suggestions and feedback,

I second Karen's idea. Our foundation would also benefit from allowing an administrator permission to edit draft applications. Our grantees understand that they must verify any changes made to their proposal before we can finalize it but the grantees allow us flexibility in the drafts as we understand more clearly what our application process is asking them.
thanks, Candice

Hi Karen,
I can understand why you would expect to be able to save a draft as you're doing Manual Grant Entry. When we added this feature, the idea was that an administrator would have the information necessary to complete the form when entering Manual Grants.
It probably seems like a simple request, but the main challenge we have with allowing an administrator to save a Manual Grant Entry as Draft is what the behavior should be. Since you're filling out an application on behalf of an applicant, if you save it as Draft, the applicant will see it when they log on and could continue filling it out themselves. I can imagine some foundations might like this, while for others, this would not be acceptable. Does that make sense?
At this point, and until we get a good idea of what other foundations would need, adding this is relatively low priority.
Thanks,
-chris
