Customizable Email Sender Alias
Please use your magic to allow foundations/grantors to customize the email sender address when sending email via Foundant.
As I send email messages via Foundant, the sender of each appears to be " http://foundant-community.custhelp.com/posts/administrator@grantinterface.com" rel="nofollow">administrator@grantinterface.com." Again this week I have heard from grantees that they found messages from "Linda Tracy, Steele-Reese Foundation

Hi Linda,
First, thanks for the kind words .. we've been trying to make headway on a lot of fronts, and while we haven't been able to address everyone's needs, hopefully the improvements over the last 6 months or so have had a positive effect on your foundation. And thanks as well for taking time to post your suggestion.
There are a number of challenges with email services. We serve a range of clients - folks who might have their own mail servers and IT staff to others for whom going online at all is a big step. At this point, given the variety of clients and competing product priorities, we're trying to avoid anything that would increase the chance that our email service is blacklisted, so that limits our options a bit given the variety of clients we're trying to server ... at least in the short-term.
Have you talked to client services about customizing the "Friendly name" of your emails? This is the name that shows up in most email clients (i.e. when I send an email to folks from my Foundant account, the "from" name shows up as "Chris Dahl"). We can custome this so that it would be "Steele-Reese Administrator" or something else you might suggest.
While that wouldn't entirely address your concerns, I think it would help. In terms of emails ending up in spam / junk folders ... some of the changes we've implemented in our last release were designed to help reduce the spam score of our emails. And some things around spam-scoring are simply out of our control ...
For now, this is about all I can offer. It is something that we are aware of, and we will continue to explore our options.
Let me know if you have follow-up questions.
Thanks,
-chris
