Applicant Dashboard
I would like to see you correct an inconsistency in terminology used on the Applicant homepage. When the Applicant logs on to GLM or clicks on the “Dashboard” link, on the left side of the screen under the Requests column, they are taken to the “Application Status Page.” When an Administrator or Evaluator logs on or clicks on the “Dashboard” link they are taken to a screen labeled “Dashboard.” Since the Applicant homepage screen does not contain a Dashboard in the same sense as the screens viewed by an Administrator or Evaluator, I would suggest replacing the term “Dashboard” on the Applicant screen with the term “Application Status.” To go one step further, due to the evolution of the GLM system over the past year even the term Application is not correct. The homepage and link under the Requests column would be more appropriately titled as “Form Status” since the Applicant can now see both pending requests as well as those that have been decided, as well as follow-up forms.

Hi Bob,
Thanks for the suggestion. We have talked internally about updating the applicant's view and making it a bit more organized, in part because when applicants have a lot of requests, their view of their history is not really optimal. At this point, rather than changing the wording now and then changing it again when we eventually make some improvements, I'm guessing our product team might opt to leave it as is. As you noted, given the evolution of the system, what we have is not really accurate. However, most applicants are used to it and don't really have a sense of wha the admin dashboard looks like.
Thanks
