Payments Ideas
We have the following scenarios and it would be great to be able to track these so we can pull out better reports.
Track cancelled payment amounts at board meetings.
Track returned checks (unused amounts), where the amount will later be cancelled at board meeting
Track overpayment on a grant (Assume that 100k was granted and paid based on monthly invoices ... howver, at the end of the year, we have paid out $120k ... then the following year, we would would approve the overpayment of $20k)
I wish I could keep track of all these interesting scenarios.

Hi Clement,
Thanks for the suggestions. We recognize that some of the more complex payment scenarios are not necessarily handled that well in the software today. That said, there are some trade-offs to adding in more complex features while keeping the software relatively easy to use for those users who have more straightforward approaches.
It might be helpful if you could provide some ideas on how the scenarios you mention would be tracked and what that might look like in the software. With a bit more information, we might be able to see some options in terms of implementing these ideas.
At this point, doing much work around payments is not a high-priority, but if we can identify lower-effort enhancements, we would definitely consider them.
Thanks again.
