Hi Hollie and Mary,
This should have been included in the 3.2.0 release. There may still be a couple places where you can't open a link in a new tab, but by and large, you should be able to now open most links in a new tab.
Let me know if this is working for you. Thanks!

Hi Mary,
When we take time to look more at refactoring the UI, we'll try to take a look at making enabling this where we can. A refactoring of the UI is not slated for the next few releases, but I hope we can take a look at it sometime not long after the new year.
Thanks for the feedback.

Hi Chris,
Sorry, yes, I think those are within grids, but it would actually be helpful to be able to open these using the "new tab" feature. For example, you can't use the Open in New Tab feature to click open the View link in Follow-ups, but there also isn't a "type of follwo-up" column, so if more than one follow-up has been assigned, I have to click view for details. Until a "follow-up type" column is available, being able to open in a new tab would come in very handy.

Hi Mary,
I think both of those links, if they are on the BaseWorkload.aspx page, are within grids. If you can post the url (and/or a screenshot), that would helpful.
Thanks

Hi Chris,
In either Submitted or Complete, the View and Review links can't be opened in a new tab.
Thanks

Hi Holli,
I didn't look at every page, but most of the links I looked at will open in a new tab. The instances I found where they wouldn't were mainly when links were displayed within a grid. In these cases, the technical issue is that the "link" you see is not actually quite a typical link, and for it to work, it needs to send information back to the server. As we go forward, we can look at these and see if we can find a way to change the implementation to be a bit more user friendly and open in a new tab. One general concern with working in multiple tabs is that users can sometimes do things in one tab that might contradict the information being displayed or acted upon in a different tab. When some of the functionality was initially implemented, I'm sure that trying to limit those types of problems was a consideration.
Could you give a few examples of links that are not within a grid and that won't open in a new tab? That will help me figure out what we might be able to do to help improve this. Thanks.
