Allow batch emails to be sent from the Organizations Search page
It would be helpful to able send a batch email using the list of organizations that appear on the organizations search page by having a send email tab at the bottom of that page. Presently we can only Merge, Quick Export or Archive organizations that we select on the list.

It would be helpful to have the ability to batch emails from the Organizations Search page.
For example, today I was tasked to email all registered applicants in the state of LA and MS a grant invitation to our Disaster Grant assisting with expenses incurred due to Hurricane Ida.
I completed a Quick Export using the excel sheet to capture and send each of the two state's primary contacts the grant invitation from Outlook.
I would have preferred to batch email from Foundant so that I could quickly personalize and address the 74 registered users with the primary contact's name and their organization name in the grant invitation email announcement.
Thanks

Hopefully I can help this to make a comeback because I actually thought we were able to do this, but I just went to send reminders and realized I couldn't. These are reminders for applications (which we currently don't have the ability to automatically send those through the process manager) This would be a great asset for me because even if we can have the reminders setup that is only at a certain time and I would like to be able to batch email them with updates at anytime.
I know some time has gone by, but I understand what you mean, Chris, by knowing which contact to email. I think it should go to the primary because we should be ensuring that is the most current contact for the organization.
Thanks!

Thanks Chris. Sorry it took a while to respond. I think allowing a choice of primary contact or applicant for a specific application for the email recipient would be useful.

Agree, I'd love to see this option. I just tried to do this and was actually surprised it wasn't already an option. In this instance, I wanted to search organizations in a certain city and batch email them all with a relevant local announcement; there's no good way to do that that I can tell. To your question, Chris, I think defaulting to primary contact would be just fine. Determining a user organization by organization would be bulky and seems likely to cause confusion, as far as I can see it.

Hi Daniel,
Thanks for the suggestion. Do you see this email as going to the primary contact of the organization? Or is there something else we'd need to do to determine which user(s) should be addressed for this type of email?
Thanks,
