Adding Installments After Initial Grant has Been Synced and Piaid
There has been somewhat of a push in the grant making community to build risk management practices into funding relationships with non-profits. Part of building risk management into grant making is allowing for some flexibility in the availability of additional funding in the case that organizations run into unanticipated issues or require additional funding to see their program through to its success. It is often very difficult for organizations to anticipate all of the expenses that they may encounter throughout the timeline of their program. So, with particular regard to pilot programs--we would like to keep an open mind about these non-profit realities and we are periodically checking in with a handful of our grantees and offering them small amounts of additional funding if they need it and can justify it. However, at this point, there is not a way in GLM to add additional installments to grants that have already been synced with CSuite and paid. It would be extremely helpful if there was a way to add new installments to grants that have already been synced/paid so that we can help organizations manage these risks and get them additional funding if they need it to be successful.
