update templates versus delete templates
It would be nice to have the feature to update a word merge template, versus deleting and re adding the word merge template.

I very strongly agree with this idea - to make Word documents editable within the system. This would also solve our issue of having to create write-ups outside the GLM (since we can't create *and* edit them in the system) and then upload them later.

I totally agree with this! I don't know how many times I've had to upload a new template with a minor change, delete the current template and do it all again.
