Dropdown Menu for State and City
Create dropdown question for locations (State, City) when organizations are creating their profiles on Foundant. As we run reports, I have noticed that organizations will misspell cities, write city names in ALL CAPS, abbreviate state names, or write state names in ALL CAPS. This presents a problem when generating reports and having to go back and clean all that. It would be great if organizations had the option to select the state where they are located from a drop down menu, then choose the city they are located in from a drop down menu as well. This would generate clean, uniform data!!

This would be extremely helpful as we have some scholarships that we still have to send letters too and we have a decent amount of international applicants.

You can do drop downs for city and state. We have them in our applications.

When syncing scholarships from SLM to CSuite, we've run into an issue with the "state" field. Even though our instructions say to enter it in the two letter format, some students type out the full name of the state. Then, when syncing to CSuite, we get an error message that the state can only be two letters. So, we go back to SLM and make the change there and then sync again to CSuite. However, if the "state" field was a drop-down box instead of a text field, this would eliminate the need to correct any errors. Thanks so much for considering!

Even though the instructions and example are VERY clear, we continue to have contact applicants who enter the state wrong. Either they add a "." after the state abbreviation or they enter it as capital letter, then lower case, which the system won't accept.
So, a drop down list where they just choose their state would alleviate any issues at all.
