Layers for Evaluation Purposes
My Trustees evaluate based on categories. It's important that I can have them look at categories first. We provide them the information alphabetically within category. That I can't do in the evaluation tool. So...under Policy Reform, for example, they might see Texas Public Policy Foundation, followed by Independent Institute, followed by American Promise. I'd like to be able to keep the category AND have it sort alphabetically under the categories. I talked with Mikayla Vale about it and I think she can explain if you have more questions or I'm happy to talk with someone myself. Thanks so much for your consideration!

A suggestion is to have a way to arrange the LOI’s by category so when the LOIs are assigned to the evaluators for review they are grouped by organization type. For instance, we have a question in the LOI that the applicant answers, “What type of organization are you?” i.e. environmental, arts, etc? The goal is that we can tell the evaluators, “do not pick more than 5 organizations in each category to submit full proposals.”
