Delay Auto-Emails
This ties into the universal application and applicant experience!
In SLM I would love the ability to delay auto emails by x number of days. We are processing scholarship recipients through SLM right now as our standing committee has just come to a close. However, what we have found clunky is that we use applicant ID's for blind review to align with our DEI initiative, and in turn, need a smooth way to turn those back into names.
What we have done is build a report that pulls all students with names/IDs/other information once they are approved and their award is entered into SLM (filtered by award date = 5/9/23).
However, we have an auto-email set up to notify students of follow-up forms to complete. We have had to delete this because with it set up, it notifies students of their awards before we are able to pull a list of recommendations for our Board of Trustees to approve. This can be problematic.
I would love the option to delay this auto-email for x number of days so that we are able to process students, while still sending them an email, just AFTER they have been notified of their award(s) via an award letter.
