  1. When creating a profile from Guidestar, please do NOT add all the 990s and such to the files tab. That info is not needed inside our system and just creates stuff we have to sift through to find and attachments that we actually need.

    If you can't change that - please make it possible to easily delete those files in bulk when a profile is created.

  2. I asked about this last year, but posting fresh again to maybe get back on radar. If you want us to use your platform for sending emails and keeping track of correspondence, we need to look professional when doing it. Sending an email in Courier with no signature or logo won't cut it.

  3. Place "Similar Profiles" under the Relationship Tab of a profile record rather than having it under the Engagement Tab. I think Similar Profiles has more to do with Relationships and in my opinion, it is not part of an engagement.

  4. I would like the option to add birthdays to a Household profile that contains two individuals (typically a couple) who want to be recognized as one entity.... without needing to create two individual profiles.

  5. Recently I added a new record of a woman who's pronouns were listed on her website as She/Ella because of her Mexican heritage. Foundant gave me an error message that it is an 'invalid' option. I thought this box allowed us to type any text but I was wrong. Can this box just be open text like other fields in Foundant? This would be more culturally and generally inclusive.

  6. It would be great to be able to change a Profile Fund Category by simply selecting a new category from the table, rather than having to unlink the profile from the fund then re-link the profile and fund with the new category.

  8. Would like a notes option for each Profile Type so that you can add a little history about what your intention behind the profile type was. Could also help with old profile types that were integrated from FIMS that are listed a little differently in CSuite.

  9. Unfortunately I don't believe this is a new idea, but the past ideas that were similar were archived so I'm taking another stab at submitting this idea.

    In instances where the Primary address of a donor is marked as inactive, I would like tax receipts not to generate to mail to those locations as it is wasting postage and time.

    I chatted with help today and they suggested marking those receipts as already sent, but that would mean having to click into every profile to see if their address is active then going through the list of donations to mark…

  12. I would like to be able to have categories or different tables for my different types of Profile Types. We like to slice and dice the different segments of profile types for board, fundholders, prospects, professional advisors, etc. and that makes for multiple different profile types for each category.

  13. The copy buttons don't require any confirmation that you actually want to copy prior to the copy being completed currently. This is an issue because it is often next to "edit" or "merge" buttons, so it is fairly easy to mistakenly click from time to time. Additionally, it can be fairly easy to miss that you did copy the record since the only indication is a refresh of your screen in most cases, so this can result in duplicate records and confusion. A simple screen asking if you want to copy this record would avoid this without causing too much…

  14. We have profiles with a Primary address and a different Mailing address. When creating a report we are not able to have Mailing Address as a field, only whether or not there is a mailing address. Could the Mailing Address be a radial button like the Pay and Primary addresses are? This may also help with Campaigns . . . If a profile has a Mailing Address, that is the address used. If not, the Primary Address is used. Currently we get labels for both Primary and Mailing Address and one needs to be removed. Thank you.

  15. Please have the date format consistent throughout the system. MM/DD/YYYY. If you add dates to someone's org role, the formatting starts with the year. Other places it will start with the month. It would be really helpful if they were consistent.

  16. When you add or update the Address Type (Home, Work...etc.) why does this delineation not change when it asks if you want to change this on other linked profiles with the same address? It is very inefficient to update a household address and add 'home' as the address type, check the boxes hoping it gets labeled as such, only to go back in and see the address type is blank but the address has been updated. Can the address type be updated with the "update checked profiles with this change" option too. This affects reporting when you want to sort…

  17. When a grantee updates their contact information in GLM, it would be nice if that information would sync over to CS either automatically or into a queue to be accepted or ignored. That way both systems are showing the same information and grantees/students can update their information in a way that reflects across all systems.

  18. When you mark a profile deceased, it is automatically marked inactive and you have to reopen it to make that change. Not all deceased profiles are inactive - we pull them frequently but if they're also marked inactive they might not get pulled.

  19. I would like to be able to create different types of mail labels and salutations (i.e. a formal, informal, board member, Professional Advisor). We use formal mail labels and salutations when notifying a non-profit of whom they can thank for the grant. But when we are sending mail to a fund advisor we use an informal label and salutation.

  20. Having the ability to update the employee name would be great. Right now, everything defaults to "Last Name, First Name." Right now when I send system generated emails, they get signed like this;

    Would love to change that so other employees that send system generated emails are not in the same boat.
