  1. It would be nice to have a feature to sync attachments in GLM &/or CSuite over to the other rather than having to attach in both places. Ideally, we would be able to pick which attachments we want to sync over. For Community Grants, we start our process in GLM so we start attachments here and then sync to CSuite for final processing. For Donor Advised/Designated Granting we start in CSuite and include attachments here then sync over to GLM for tracking purposes.

  2. We allow many people to get into Profile Types. That’s an easy way to view and export profiles based on the assigned type. Once we give someone the Profile Type permission, they can get in there. So far so good. Then there’s permissions for Archive Profile Type and Delete Profile Type. However, those permissions are surprisingly narrowly defined to just the Profile Types. Nothing applies to Profile Fund Categories, Address Types, Email Types and Genders. So anyone who has the Profile Type permission can fully delete any of those, which is not good. And anyone can create any type and…

  3. Is there a way to keep AP voucher line details in the order I enter them? If I have a large invoice and have entered numerous lines, save and then go back in, everything has changed from the order I entered data. Makes it incredibly hard to double check anything. Why does it change order? It doesn't go by alpha or dollar amount, doesn't seem to have any rhyme or reason. Please fix this. Thank you.

  4. In an effort to move to more ACH payments, we would like an integration of a cloud-based, third party billing service. At our foundation, we have no interest in collecting our vendor and grantee's sensitive bank information and storing and entering it ourselves. That is why we believe a successful third-party billing option is the best way to go. We have heard that CSuite is experimenting with Bambora, however, upon our research, we find that this may not completely suit all our needs.   5. I would like to hit enter from the profile search bar and get a page showing all the ones that come up, not just a drop down.   6. When you go into the General Ledger search... it would be beneficial to have a from account number and to account number to get a consecutive series of general ledger accounts.

    Example GL 63000-65000.... it would show all the transactions for those accounts. It would be grouped by the GL with subtotals. Every accounting software I have used has had the option to pull a series of general ledgers like this.

    This is not feasible with the new financial reports being released this month since the general ledger would have the description on it. We use the descriptions a lot…

  7. When you offer a meal choice in a campaign, we would like to see registering guests only have the choice to make one meal selection and the meal selection should be mandatory. Currently, it appears guests can select more than one meal choice or they can completely skip that step and still register.

  8. As a foundation, I would like for community members visiting my website to be able to select "Start a Fund" from my website and enter details/intentions about that fund.

    Additionally, when fund advisors are logged in to their existing fund through the portal, I would like them to be able to request changes to the fund: Ex.: investment strategy.

  9. We would like to be able to add custom fields in Tasks. One data point we have tracked in Salesforce is whether an activity/task is a "quality contact". For example forwarding an event invitation might be a task, but forwarding a news story and including a special message that encourages someone to consider making a grant might be a "quality contact" task. We use "quality contacts" to measure our client relations team success. If we could add a check box to Tasks for "quality contacts" that would be great.

  10. It would be very helpful to have Foundant flag groups deemed as hate groups, and/or extremist groups by using some type of source to notify users that this organization has been flagged when trying to create a grantee profile with a particular EIN, or doing the charity check in GuideStar.

  12. Ability to link (preferably automatically) the credit card fees associated with a campaign ticket purchase to the campaign on the statement of activities.

  13. We are continuing to have problems with Fund Advisors telling us that they are not receiving system-generated emails from us. We believe this is because the name and the email address do not match. That is, our organization's name is in the sender name but the domain in the email address is fcsuite.com.

    Has there been any discussion to investigate the possibility of changing "no-reply@fcsuite.com" to what is entered in the "Default Email Reply To" setting in Systems Data?

    We believe this would pass more smoothly through spam filters.

  14. Can you add the Profile Fund Categories to the Fund Advisor Fund Custom Report? We establish tab settings based on the profile fund category.

    We have been unable to find any other report that combines the tabs with the profile fund categories, fund advisors and fund information.

  15. Create a Board portal. A place to put documents, ByLaws, minutes, agendas, governance documents etc. Board would login here to retrieve documents for meetings instead of email and re-emailing with changes.

  16. Auto populate the 990 newly created tax class field using Charity Check but allow for manual overrides..

    See the implimented tax class implientation below:

    This functionality was released on December 1st, 2021. Added a 990 report for Grants to Individuals. Grantee's that are individuals will be included in this report. Enhanced the 990 export to include the IRC Section Code and Grant Purpose. The IRC Section Code will be populated from the new Tax Class field that is user defined in Profile Types.

  17. On an organizational profile record, the static fields "Contact" and "Contact Title" allow you to type in a name and title, which then populate the address blocks on that record. Those fields appear on check letter and grant letter templates.
    There is also an option to select an individual which is linked to the organization as a "Primary Org Contact". That selection makes a dynamic link to the individual. However, "Primary Org Contact" is not an available merge field on any template.

    It would be ideal to have that dynamic, linked indication available as a merge field or (even better!)…

  18. Thank you for adding Tasks to individual Profiles! Can you please make ALL TASKS visible on a profile regardless of who created or the assigned person? It's helpful to see all past due/current/future tasks on a profile regardless of who they are assigned to.

  19. For those funds that specify a dollar distribution (ex: $6,000/year), it would be nice to have the ability to create and apply that distribution type. I understand it can be modified during review but could be easily missed, particularly by newer staff. If there's a good work around I'd appreciate suggestions.

  20. It would be highly beneficial for the Audit Details export information to be available prior to posting distributions. Without posting distributions first, the quarter ending values used to calculate distributions are not available. This makes it difficult to compare year over year data to ensure accuracy. Having the quarter ending values used in the distribution calculations prior to posting distributions would negate the need to run all distributions in Sandbox first. We discovered 2 errors in cSuite calculations due to posting in the sandbox where cSuite was not calculating QEV correctly. Access to these values first is paramount to quality…
