profile search
I would like to hit enter from the profile search bar and get a page showing all the ones that come up, not just a drop down. I am very visual and would like to see blocks on a page and then be able to tag merges from there (among other things). Otherwise your clicking, hunting and packing to accomplish what you want to...

As part of this, I would LOVE to be able to 'screen pop' a phone number search to the site. For example:
A user receives a call via a softphone. The softphone has the ability to launch a URL with the phone number, so it could open a new tab to https://copmany.foundant.com/search=?%phonenumber% so it will launch a page searching for the phone number you just picked up. If that number is found, it would load the profile page so you could take or read notes.

Agree wholeheartedly. Before the recent profile search option changes, this is how searching by email used to work. As someone responsible for maintaining our profile data, It was so much more convenient to have a list to work against - opening each one in a new tab to actually make the changes necessary.
For example, when a company changes it's email domain, you must enter the criteria in the search bar, open and edit the profile, then return to the search page, enter the criteria in the search bar again, open and edit the profile, etc.

Is tag merging where you can run a search on your records, tag them, and then continue to search and add new tagged records until you get the data that you want? I used to coordinate a volunteer program that used online software called "Volgistics" and it had a feature I've always missed. I could search for say - all people who live in this town and tag them - and then do another search with different criteria and add them. Then I could use all of my tagged records for sending communications to just those particular people. It was so handy.
