We were excited to see the availability of an integrated Fund Request form, but we won’t be able to benefit from it in its current form for a couple of reasons.
1. we cannot customize it as we need to. It’s great that you can add fund custom fields, but we need to be able to add several non-custom fields as well (such as Group and Subgroup). We would also need to add some editable free text fields
2. It creates a list of fund requests, and the ability to create an Opportunity, but to be a true time saver for us, it would need to create a Fund (once approved). -

The current fields on the online Fund Request are not helpful. It would be better if the form had the option to show existing fields in the Fund profile - Group (DAF, Designated, Agency....), endowed (yes/no). We would not use it so much as a self-service for individuals, but it would be helpful for staff stewarding a new fund, providing necessary information to create a fund agreement and finance setup

The Online Fund Request is not helpful for us, as current fund advisors would not be establishing new funds, or would be contacting us directly, and would provide more detailed information. The public wouldn't understand things about the name, and fund purpose, without context. We already use opportunities to track and report on prospective and confirmed new funds, so the bucket idea is interesting, but adds an additional step rather than takes one away. Especially since notes in the opportunity do not carry to the new fund. What would be of assistance is a new field in the opportunities, that would allow us to merge Deed of Gift templates with data, much like the send letter field does now. And, maybe a way of being able to separate custom fields so we can collapse or hide fields rather than having long lists of them in opportunities, especially as opportunity custom fields are not opportunity type specific. A create fund on the opportunity left-hand side could be useful, as well.

Our new fund opening process is very donor-centric in the early stages, and funds are not set up until the donor has met and discussed with our Philanthropic Services team and narrowed down their intent. Donors can be very fickle and submit requests that are impractical. We have a work flow outside of CSuite that seems to be working very well for us. I don't think this self-service aspect of fund requests is going to enhance CSuite's functionality - especially since an internal user will still have to go set up the fund.

I typically create funds by copying a similar existing fund of the same fund type. It would be great to be able to copy another fund's settings when creating a fund off this form.

Occasionally, we have more than one person that is not a household but two individuals that are setting up a Fund. That would be helpful!
Would like to have a person be able to complete a field without it mapping to the Fund, so we can capture other information.
