Show Cancelled on Promise Status or Allow Deletion of Record
I am bringing back a couple of ideas you have previously archived. It is not clear whether the system architecture will not allow these changes to be made or if there is insufficient support for the idea. However, the way the system is behaving today is extremely misleading.
Situation:
When adjustments are made to a promise record, the system does not allow it to be deleted. The only option is to Cancel the promise record.
Problem:
In the promise details, you can see that the promise was cancelled and the amount was cancelled. HOWEVER, on the Engagement tab of the profile, what you see is that the promise has been "PAID" and that there is a $0 balance.
This implies that the person paid the balance of the promise. This is misleading and incorrect.
Request
Please correct this misleading information by allowing a promise record to be deleted if there is not payment activity associated with it OR at the very least, change the status to Cancelled.

Correction... It is when you are looking at the Pledge Tab on the Donor Profile where it shows the cancelled promise record as Paid with a $0 balance.
