Internal Grant thank you letter
Please update the functionality for the Associated Donation record for an Internal Grant Transfer. Currently one may pick a Gift Acknowledgement Template on the Associated Donation and the transaction does appear in the Donations/Receipt bucket. However, when clicking on Tax Receipts for processing, the transaction does not appear. Our Foundation uses a NonTax Gift Template contained in the Tax Receipt Templates for outside DAF gifts VERY frequently. So why can't the Associated Donation to a Internal Grant Transfer have this function available just like any other Donation? We have to manually create a gift acknowledgement letter for every internal grant. This same idea was archived back in 2024. Madness.

I understand why an internal grant would not generate a tax receipt, but for our use cases (may differ for other organizations) I don't understand why there is an Internal Grant Letter rather than an Internal Donation Letter. We have no use for a letter we would issue to ourselves (the grant recipient) to advise that we have moved our assets from one fund to another. It would be of immense value to be able to generate a (non-tax) letter to the advising fund holder to thank them for their direct support of our Foundation/Initiatives.
