  1. With the addition of custom fields to Notes, we know the custom field is available for use in regular Notes and Opportunity Task Notes, as well as available on Opportunity Notes. The custom field appears as a reportable field in custom reports for Notes and Opportunity Task Notes but NOT for Opportunity Notes. My assumption is the custom field should show on the Opportunity Note report based solely on the objects being used in that report (i.e. Opportunities and Notes). Can the custom field please also be connected/available for the Opportunity Notes?

  2. It would be very helpful to be able to tag multiple funds in one note. Internally, we put notes on the fund advisor/donor profile and tag the note since we cannot do it the other way around. Would it be possible to tag multiple funds in a note, so we do not have to create duplicate notes on multiple funds profiles.

  3. When clicking on a Note/Task Type ID number under Opportunities, List Types, please add the ability to list all specific notes/tasks associated with that ID number. For example, when clicking a Profile Type category ID, you can click List Profiles, which displays a list of all profiles with that Profile Type. I want to see all the notes/tasks associated with that type.

  4. Currently, when creating an Opportunity Task Note, users can associate both a Profile and a Fund with the note.

    The note does display in the Notes tab on the associated Profile
    However, the note does not display in the Notes tab on the associated Fund

    This creates an inconsistency in how notes are surfaced across related records.

    Suggested Enhancement:
    -When a Fund is selected on an Opportunity Task Note, the note should also appear in the Notes tab of that Fund
    -This would mirror the existing behavior for Profiles and create consistency across the system

  5. Thank you for creating the Foundant for Outlook add-in with the "add note to CSuite" feature! I would love to see the "add note" function expand to include profile Opportunities. We encourage our staff to use the opportunities area to document many types of communications, so it would be great for us to have the option to use the Outlook add-in to create a note within an existing profile opportunity when an email is sent or received (maybe this could be an option nested under the existing profile search?).

  6. While there is the current ability to copy (duplicate) notes, it would be extremely helpful to have a Connected Profiles field, just like we are able to do with Opportunities. That way, if a note needs to be updated/edited, all connected profiles will show the update/edit. As of now, we'd have to find all copies of the note and update/edit each one separately.

  7. Could we make Note Type mandatory? Currently, anyone can create a note within the system, and leave the Note Type blank. In terms of reporting, having Note Type filled in is key.

  8. Task Email Reminder to include task description (re-open archived idea)

    The description is included with a completed task notification, so reason stands the system should also be able to include it in a task email reminder - this would greatly improve task management utility and integration with outlook/Microsoft365 tasks.

  9. Currently, when a file is shared, it's only shared to the Fund Advisor Portal. We would like to see some file sharing options where we can choose where we would like to share the file to, and allowing to share to multiple areas. For example:
    1. Share to Advisor Portal
    2. Share to Grantee Portal
    3. Share to Donor Portal
    4. Share to Fund Profile
    5. Share to Profile

    We have started to send Welcome Letters from Opportunities. When we share the auto attached welcome letter, we would typically share this on the Advisor Portal and the Fund profile.

  10. Can the task description field be a long text field instead of a short text field? Also would be great to make this a rich text field so we can add bullet points. We like to create a general task with more information on what is needed to complete the task.

  11. When entering a note for another individual, it would be great if the "Who" was an option to change when entering the note. Currently I have to enter the note, then edit the note to change the "Who." Thanks!

  12. Thanks so much for the Outlook add-in for CSuite!

    We would love to be able to attach an email directly to a fund. Is that possible?

    Sometimes we might be having an internal communication about a fund and that's where we want this note to be attached, rather than associated with any one Profile.

    It would help encourage good documentation practices as you're able to build in more options to this wonderful add-in. Thanks for your consideration!

  14. We would like to request native DocuSign integration within CommunitySuite (CSuite).
    Currently, DocuSign integration appears to be available in other Foundant products such as Grant Lifecycle Manager (GLM) and Scholarship Lifecycle Manager (SLM), but not within CSuite. This creates a gap in workflow efficiency for organizations that rely on CSuite for fund management, donor engagement, and grant processing.
    Adding DocuSign integration to CSuite would allow organizations to:

    Streamline document workflows (e.g., fund agreements, donor acknowledgments, and grant-related documentation)
    Reduce manual processing and duplicate data entry
    Improve turnaround times for signatures and approvals
    Maintain a centralized system of record within CSuite

  16. Currently the only notification related to tasks and notes is the notification that is sent to a user when they are assigned to a task that they do not own. If I add myself to a task I am creating, I would not receive an email.

    It would be nice if the creator and anyone that the task is share with could receive a notification when any notes are added by the user that the task is assigned to.

  17. Provide option to move a note that is in a profile to an opportunity that is also in the profile. Currently we have to manually move notes if a note is mistakenly added to the profile rather than the opportunity.

  18. Not too long ago they have us the ability to add a file to a note - this is super helpful because we can often attach email correspondences without junking up the "Files" tab with so many attachments.

    HOWEVER - you can only "Add File" AFTER you post the note. So many staff members have forgotten that option is available now. Please put the Add File Option to the Add Note screen so we can attach at note creation.

  19. The category function is great for organizing files but we would like to provide more organization by having sub categories. Like a main category would be Finance and sub categories would be documents finance would be concerned with such as W9s. Thank You cards would be a Donor sub category. etc.
