  1. Hello, we receive pledges for sponsorships, of which, the bulk is charitable. No problem linking the pledge tot he charitable portion. However, we cannot seem to find an easy way to link a non-charitable portion of the pledge (for instance if tickets come with a sponsorship). Is there any way to do this? If not, can you consider it for the future?

  2. The bulk create yearly tax receipts is a great function - and I would love it if we could leverage the way we do statements. Currently, the option is to mail or email the yearly receipt on an individual level. If we could have a way to bulk create them for donors and publish to the fund advisor portal, not the donor portal, so that fund advisors can see the tax receipts this would get around the issue of individuals having to change the profile to the household to see household donations. This way they could see their yearly receipts…

  3. When home Home/Donations/Recurring donations - a list of recurring donations is listed. However, it doesn't show the FUND the donation will be applied to on that screen (or when you export the list), I find it frustrating as our recurring donations list is growing. A post about it was archived. I hope to get some traction with this one!

  4. Home - Pledges/Promises - Filter Reports.

    Please add to the list of available filters, pledge campaign since this is a field that is on the pledge. This would help when needing to see a list of pledges & outstanding balances for a specific campaign. This report is the best report for reviewing outstanding balances of pledges & this data point would make it even more useful.

  5. When listing open pledges at the top of the Donation page, the Fund Name should be included with the other information. This would be especially helpful if a donor has more than one open pledge and/or if a donor is making a gift to a fund other than the one(s) they have open pledges for.

  6. Currently, we always have to unreconcile bank statements in order to make gift adjustments. That’s an unwieldy and problematic process. One proposed workaround is to make negative donations, but that requires 2 new gifts that have to go through a whole new creation/review process. What’s more concerning is that negative donations would be forever visible on the donor portal, as if we moved money from their fund. We really need a way to cleanly make gift adjustments.

  7. Please provide a way for us to edit/delete an automatic pledge adjustment. There is no way to do that in the system, and if you accidentally miskey something that causes an automatic pledge adjustment, it's permanently recorded. This not only messes up the GL details, but it also creates an inaccurate pledge total amount that shows up in the system.

    Case in point, we accidentally added an extra number on a payment which then increased a pledge by $2.5 million. It was a simple mistake, pure accident. However, we're stuck now in perpetuity with the wrong figure showing on this…

  8. Add a feature for grants that they can link to a Pledge on a profile. When someone gives a grant from a Pass-thru fund to a fund that they have a pledge, I am not able to link it. I need to cancel the payment.

  10. It would be nice to assign yearly tax receipts based on funds similar to regular tax receipts. We only send yearly receipts to our annual campaign fund donors. There is no way to segregate these tax receipts at this time.

  12. Instead of having two separate "entries" for a donation when a donor is covering the CC fees, it would be great for those two numbers to be combined and show as one donation. When this process generates two donations, i.e., $500 donation and $23.50 in credit card fees, when you run a report for the Fund Advisor to update them on the number of donations that the Fund received, the number is not accurate because it is counting some of donations as two.

  13. The option to auto tax receipt based on the donation amount would be very beneficial as not every single small donation needs a tax receipt. This would be a setting in the donations settings that allows for the inputting of an amount and should that threshold be reached, then the donation or event ticket receipt would be automated. Otherwise, it would have to be manually processed.

  14. After importing pledges into CSuite users are unable to bulk post all of the pledges listed in the new bucket. This requires the user to click into each pledge & then post. This requires additional setup time when working with a high volume of pledges.

  15. When bulk importing pledges it is not possible to include the campaign that is associated with each of the pledges that are being imported. It has to be added 1 by 1 after the pledge is in CSuite which requires additional setup time after the import. This would save time when setting up pledges associated with a campaign in CSuite.

  16. When we integrate GLM to CSuite for Grant Catalog use, there is no way to add the grant catalog identifier to the bulk donation upload template. We have several foundations that do Giving Day and they have nonprofits apply in GLM to participate, we integrate to CSuite for Grant Catalog. While some donate online and it works great, many people donate in person on Giving Day with a check or cash. In these cases (and could have upwards of 200-400 cash / check donations), our accounting department has to add the grant catalog field after they complete the bulk upload…

  17. When I create a donation record, I often select a different mailing address than the primary for the donor on the particular gift I'm posting. The new address prints perfectly on the acknowledgement letter but does NOT print on the envelope. Instead, the Primary Address for the donor profile is printing on the envelope. When working in the DONATIONS > Receipts space, I would like to see the address I selected for the donation printed on both the letter and the envelope. Thank you.

  18. We have a Campaign - Race (5k Run/Walk).

    Needed to distribute a check received from a third-party (race organizer) as donations from multiple Profiles (race participants) related to a Campaign.

    • Race organizer collected (100% donation) $25 registration fees and added $1 surcharge for processing.
    • Race organizer included additional donation to Fund - not necessarily linked/related to Campaign.

    IDEA: Allow soft credit at "Buy a Ticket" option of Profile Payment.

    I apologize if this isn't clear. I have to figure out the best way to solve this problem.

  19. Please add the pay schedule to Pledge/Promise reports. We want to be able to see upcoming expected payments to be able to send reminders. I thought of creating a custom field so solve this issue but it doesn't seem like there's an option to create custom fields in Pledge/Promises.

  20. Used to be a RE NXT user, and one of the best features was Workflow Designer. You could create processes — known as workflows — as an automated series of steps in the form of actions, emails, or conditions. You can assign actions to someone in your organization to complete, then add conditions to have the workflow move to the next action.
    You could add emails to your workflow and set conditions to automatically send those emails to your constituents. You'll add actions and emails based on your chosen criteria and let the workflow do all the work, saving yourself…
