Applicants should be able to receive a confirmation email once they have had to resubmit an application.
As of now, if an applicant has to resubmit an application due to it being deemed incomplete, they can not receive a second confirmation email. This is critical, especially for smaller organizations, as it saves time and reassures applicants that their resubmittal has been processed.

Automatic email FROM our evaluators once they have completed an evaluation
We should be able to receive an automatic email from our evaluators once they have completed an evaluation. This would be a time-saving program enhancement for scholarship management.

Opt Out Option for Automatic Emails
I would love to see the addition of an "opt out" checkbox function when an automatic email is going to be triggered. We use an automatic email that's attached to when a Final Report is assigned. The auto email sends out a grant award notification, but, if we ever need to adjust the Final Report due date, it will resend the grant award email.

3rd Party Email Resends by Admins in Email History
Recently in SLM, we've had multiple 3rd party persons reach out to us to have the Request Link email resent to them so they can complete a student's letter of recommendation. To keep track of and know that they were sent, opened, etc., would it be possible to include those emails sent from the administrator's side of the platform in the searchable Email History module in the Communications section? We had a few that we resent tell us that they didn't even receive the ones from the admin. We also told them to look for the administrator@grantinterface.com sender address. Something…

Multiple emails for grant letters
When sending grant documents (grant letters), currently C-Suite only allows for one primary email address and if you want to add a second to be cc'd, you need to add it manually. It would be helpful if C-Suite allowed for a primary and secondary email address to be added and have that be automatically added to the cc section when sending grant letters.
We have many organizations who request multiple email addresses to be contacted when they're receiving a grant and unfortunately right now we can't do it as it's too much of a manual process to add in a…

Intergrate CSuite Grant # into GLM/SLM Email Templates
We recently moved from Word document letter templates to email award notifications, and would love the ability to include CSuite Grant ID# in our GLM email correspondence. Currently, the selection of fields that can be merged into an email template is very limited, and there is no way to include a unique identifier that grantees can use to reference a specific grant.

Use organization domain for email communications
Enable sending automated emails from the organizations actual domain via the use of domain authorization rather than sending everything from grantinterface.com.
Emails from grantinterface.com are confusing, often caught in spam, and it is impossible to ensure that every online customer recognizes and properly whitelists it. This has caused significant overhead on our staff to manage missed communications. In addition, some organizations spend a lot of time and money to build their brand reputation and improve name recognition within the community. The many thousands of automated emails that go out every year should be representative of, and enhance, this investment. While…

Inactive Users Should Not Require an Email Address
Currently if a user is inactive they are required to have an email address. This is not useful when the new user in their role uses the previous employees email address. ie) ceo@testcompany.ca
If the new user uses the previous employees email then you are required to come up with a dummy address for the inactive employee. This is not ideal.
Inactive employees should NOT require an email.

multiple automated emails
The option to add multiple automated emails would significantly improve efficiency. For example, a "report due" automated email is sent to grant recipients 30 days and 7 days before the report is due.

evaluation deadline reminder
Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could program LOI/Application Evaluation Dates into the process AND ALSO set up automater reminder emails that go to assigned evaluators before these deadlines?!

email cc limit
Add more characters to CC within email templates- Currently only 200 characters is about 5 addresses. We need to email at least 12 addresses in the CC field and be able to add more addresses to the to field.

ability to add multiple emails to transfer requests
it would be helpful to have the ability to add multiple email addresses to the transfer request email function. We have to notify the custodian, investment manager and investment advisor - and sometimes there are multiple people at each location.

Restrict Inactive Applicants From Receiving Emails
I'd like to propose the idea of restricting applicants who have been set as inactive to no longer be included on emails. Ideally, those who are set to inactive should not continue to receive emails through Foundnat. For example, when I send an email to a user and I cc' the primary organizational contact (who happens to be inactive) he/she is included on the email chain. My temporary fix is to edit the inactive profile and then make a dummy email address and select a new applicant as the primary organizational contact.

Custom Merge Fields for Email Templates
It would be useful to have the inability to use custom merge fields in an email template.
Some background on our proposed use this feature and the need it addresses:
Our foundation was attempting to create an email template which can serve as a digital copy of the scholarship award letter we send to recipients. However, we are unable to create a "master" email template that would serve across all opportunities because there is no way to pull in a description of the scholarship each recipient has won.
It would be nice to be able to utilize custom fields from…

Allow us to determine when to send auto emails
It would be great to be given the control to determine when our organization sends automatic emails. I would like to send automatic emails when we deny a request and even approve a request but as a Foundant user I am restricted. Denial emails are possibly the biggest concern because you have to navigate in this backhanded way to even be able to send a bulk denial email. Once you deny a request it no longer shows up on your dashboard so it is out of sight, out of mind, and you are relying on an understaffed organization to remember…

Auto email exception
I would like the ability to override which auto email templates to use at the Request record level. I have a follow up form, "Interim report", that I assign primarily for multi-year grants, but also for the occasional expenditure responsibility (ER) grant and maybe in a few other circumstances. For ER grants, the IRS requires the grantee to submit a report to us as of the end of their fiscal year, and to do so every year until all funds are expended. When we make an ER grant near the end of a grantee's fiscal year, I know they won't…

Sender Merge field SLM Email Templates
Email templates now offer the "Sender" merge field, it would be great if we could have the "Business Tittle" field in the users settings (optional) and maybe only internal so students to have access to it, but this would allow us to easily communicate foundation staff information without having to manually input. This would also allow us to track the evaluator's tittle at the schools involved in our nominating committees. Bonus if we can sync it with C-suite!

Email Templates: Add a "Next" and "Back" Arrow Buttons to Move Through the Email Templates
Suggestion: When working on updating email templates, it would be very helpful to have an arrow button for “Next” and “Back” to easily navigate the email templates.
Current Process: Now, the process requires that you go back to the email template section, pick the next template from the list, wait for it to open, make changes, save, go back to the email template listings page and then repeat that for every template. I noticed that you already have an arrow that forwards you to the next form in other stages within the dashboard, but not in the email templates section.…3 votes
