Organization's website in the Application view
We would like to see an organization's website in the Application view. Currently, when evaluating or reading applications, one needs to go back to the Summary to click on an organization's website.
Thanks

Hi all,
This should be in place as of the 3.5.0 release from a few weeks ago. Please let me know if you have any further feedback, and thanks again for the suggestion.

I agree with Joan. A small icon indicating a website would be sufficient and having it available in multiple places would be helpful. Organization summary page, Application View page, Request summary page, etc. Perhaps a small icon anywhere the organization is shown in a link, like behind the EIN# which is also included wherever the organization is listed.
Thanks

Good Morning, everyone,
The idea of a small icon on the organization summary page, the application review and request summary page would be great. Our directors access the application and this would be extremely helpful for them as they are not generally as familiar with the organizations as staff who deal with the organizations all the time. Also, the use of a web icon would signal access to websites so you would quickly know you could get there with a simple click.
Thanks

Hi all,
Thanks for the additional feedback. I'm guessing that folks would want this anywhere they see a link to the organization's summary page (so at the top of the LOI review, Application review, Request summary page, etc.) .. is that a fair statement?
One other quick question - given how tight space is, would an icon be ok? Since we don't want to replace the link to the organization's summary page, and since this isn't a "main" feature, I'd like to disrupt the layout as little as possible.
When I get some responses to these questions, I'll bring this up again to our product team.
Thanks

I agree, this would be helpful, especially if the website link were to open in a new window (rather than a new tab or in the same window).
Thanks!

Thanks for your response. We would like to see an active link to an org's website in the Application View. The ideal location would be in the top box, close to the org's name. Currently, the steps to look at an org's website while reading an application is having to get out of Application View and go back to the org's Summary page. The purpose of this request is to be able to read a proposal and have access to the website easily. Looking at an org's website is a component of the foundation's review process.
Thanks!

Hi Rosanna,
Thanks for the suggestion. This is the first time I've heard this idea. It's not technically that difficult, but from a user interface perspective, I'm not sure where the best place to display this would be. There are already quite a few links at the top of the page, and I don't want to clutter things up further. We can talk about this on our product team, but in the meantime, do you have a suggestion on where a link to the organization website should go?
Thanks
