standard address format
It would be great if there was standard to the mailing addresses for users and organizations. Right now they can use any format they chose (e.g. MI, Mich, Michigan, 123-456-7890; (123) 456-7890) and it has to be formatted before it can be used for templates or imported into other software.

What about having an automatic drop down that pops up from the system to select their state?

You can absolutely do this right now! Contact support@foundant.com and ask them about validation expressions in your registration steps. They can make it to only accept the capital, two letter abbreviation for state etc.!
