  1. You can set a primary contact for an organization. But there is no way to pull that into a report. We prefer not to set the contact on the actual organization profile because it then prints that name on a check. There is no way to pull primary contact as a field in a report. It would be great if this was a reportable field so we can create effective and efficient contact lists.

  2. I love the ability to archive campaigns and get them off the campaign list, but we would like to be able to continue to see some of the campaigns on profiles. We track programming participants through campaigns and we would like that history to remain easily visible on their profile.

    There is an option in the left side menu to list all campaigns.  Selecting that will bring up a filtered list of all campaigns for that profile.

  3. Can we please have the option to select birthdays without a year or even a specific date?

    Sometimes we may know the Month and Year
    Other times, we may only know the Month and Day, but not a year.

    It is nice to capture this information for donor development

  5. Currently, Yearly Tax Receipts can only be produced in bulk as PDF's versus Word Documents. I would like to have the ability to select the file format download you'd like (PDF or Word.docx) for the Yearly Tax Receipt. This would then keep the options for YTR the same independently if you run them in bulk or individually.

    Currently, we would need to have something similar to Adobe Acrobat to turn the PDF into a Word Doc.

  6. We would like to request that Foundant consider creating a scholarship directory similar to the Nonprofit Directory. We would like a place to easily share our scholarship names, descriptions, and photos to our students, parents, donors, and community. We would like to maintain this directory directly in C-Suite so that it can communicate externally and with SLM, if possible.

  7. As a small community foundation, we have a fund holder who has the local artistic community creating about two dozen posters to promote freedom of expression. They'll be "sold" (given as premiums) for a donation to a C-Suite campaign. Each poster design is offered as one ticket.

    We are running into the limitations of the C-Suite Ticket object here. We need each ticket to be able to add CUSTOM ADDITIONAL FIELDS similar to the way the Note field works at present. We would want Shipping Address for fulfillment on each item.

  8. When setting up a new opportunity for a household (example new fund solicitation or bequest expectancy), it would be helpful if the household's opportunity showed up under both individual parties' profiles as well.

  9. When emailing grantees for Electronic Payments, there is the CC email field (which is great!) - it would be super helpful for this field to automatically pull in the Email from the grantee profile that is marked as "Pay". So that the email can automatically be sent to the grantee ED and the person who should be notified of payments.

  10. Currently on the household record, the Last Donation Date does not roll up all donations from the household members. So, if the household has not given since 2021, but a member of the household gave in 2023, that is not reflected in the Last Donation Date on the household record, it shows their last donation was in 2021. This is not an accurate representation of the household's giving. Please have all household and household members giving be reflected on the household record's Last Donation Date.

  11. I am in a strategic process here at the Foundation thinking through further ways to engage fundholders and we would like to pursue using the “Fund Open Date” data to acknowledge anniversaries.

    Currently, reporting will allow "Fund Open Date" field to be pulled by Month (regardless of year) but Relative date options are tied to year and will not produce a whole list.

    I’m able to pull the report and work in excel, but wanted to work with y’all if there might be a non-external way to do this entirely on the CSuite system.

    Desired improvement would be a functionality…

    When both the Giving Hub and new Portal are enabled, there is an option to add a Login to the Giving Hub main menu. This will allow a User to login to their profile prior to donating. If a profile is logged in prior to making a donation, a new profile will not be created.

  13. If the donor fails to enter anything in the 'Whom to notify' area, the donation will result as a non-notify tribute. As the donor as elected not to notify the tribute, we are unable to modify and link to an established tribute.

    We have chosen NOT to display our tribute names to the portal for several reasons. Now that CSuite assumes that if someone enters a Tribute name without notify contact information, that means the donor does not want to send a notification. However we are finding that the donor may have simply not known who to notify.

  14. Tribute bucket in donations should show the number of tributes needing to be sent in parentheses at the top of the page, next to the word Tribute, similar to the Receipt bucket and how it shows the number of donations that are done being reviewed and need their tax receipt sent.

  15. It would be great if we had the option to view all notes for a household and any member profiles in one location. We can make a custom report for this but it involves using a filter. It would be easier for all users if there was an option to view all notes while on the Household profile.

  16. One of the most limiting things about using Foundant is the lack of connectivity to other platforms that we all use. Even in cases where there is some integration (like with MailChimp) that integration is extremely limited.

    I found those ideas all via one quick search in the Idea Lab for the word "integrate." I bet there are many other requests that could also be solved this way.

  17. We are using opportunities and opportunity tasks to help with reporting on development activities. This often requires creating an number of tasks to detail some of the ongoing activities in a more dynamic way than is offered by a recurring task.

    I would love to see a new function in opportunities to add a "Task Flow" which would add a list of tasks and time frames at once. These flows could be custom designed for different development activities in an ideal world and could even further follow advanced logic if built out completely.

  18. When a profile is updated with a name change or address change CSuite is then updating all historical items, example if a grantee had a check cut under on old name and they changed to a new org name that historical check is now showing that it was cut to the new name. Historical checks and gifts should remain static and not update to the new information.

  19. With the new profile updates, Add Opportunity is now under Relationships. Opportunities are an engagement strategy, not a link to another profile. Please either keep Add Opportunity on the left menu for all tabs or put it under the Engagement Tab. Please put Opportunities under the Engagement Tab.

  20. I asked about this last year, but posting fresh again to maybe get back on radar. If you want us to use your platform for sending emails and keeping track of correspondence, we need to look professional when doing it. Sending an email in Courier with no signature or logo won't cut it.
