Need ability to create distributions using same "post" date more than once
Sometimes after the initial "batch" of creating distributions at the beginning of a year, we will decide to "turn on" a distribution type for a fund or group of funds that previously had no distribution type assigned. If creating distributions using a post date that has already been used in a previous "batch" (example: 1/1/2021), the resulting screen accurately only seems to include those funds that were not included in the previous batch, making it easy to identify the appropriate funds. However, the "average quarters" used in the calculation is "0" (even though clearly the fund has a balance for the quarters to be averaged) so the calculated distribution is calculating as 0.
Through chat support, I was told the workaround is to use a different post date. However, when I do that, every single fund with that distribution type (including hundreds of funds that have already had a distribution rate calculated and posted) shows up on the screen, and we have to manually uncheck every fund that doesn't apply.
We should be able to create and post more than one "batch" of distributions using the same post date; subsequent batches after the initial batch would ideally only include those funds not included in the previous calculation batch but would correctly reflect the average balance of the quarters.
Another solution would be to have a "check all/uncheck all" box at the top of the column which would eliminate the need to manually uncheck so many rows.
