Go to the Device Manager window. In the Device Manager window, go to the View menu and select "Show hidden devices" from the drop-down menu.
In the Device Manager box, you should now have Ports (COM & LPT) choices.
Then select the “Port Settings” tab. Select “Use any interrupt assigned to port” from the list of choices. Next, select “Enable Legacy Plug and Play Detection” from the drop-down menu.
